Kulana Arab I don't believe the DNA results. I'd like to visit the lab to see how a person's origin or ethnicities are derived. In the Bible it says in the story of the Tower of Babel that God caused a giant migration and created various languages and ethnicities originated from this huge migration. We all come from God.
@@mansooralqahtani5419 Not true at all. DNA and technology will change a lot of assumptions. Already, north africans are reclaiming their amazigh heritage. In 100 years time, no single north african will describe themselves as arab. This will also happen in lebanon and syria. The way in which arabs used islam to erase other people's cultures and identities will soon come to a crashing end.
I'm trying to wrap my mind around why middle eastern people would be surprised that they are European and African. You're literally right between the two lol.

I, as and Irish soldier, served with the UN in south Lebanon and there was a farmer there who was both physically and very similar in looks to my Dad who was also a farmer. I showed him and his family a picture of my Dad standing beside a tractor and I could understand from his response he was somewhat emotional but his son translated as best he could. His father's brother had died when he was nine years of age and his Dad had always believed he had just gone somewhere else in the world. Perhaps it was true and more than an notion created by a grieving child but everytime I met him during those months his arms would go around me and greet me like a son.
I was watching a video recently of South Lebanon and the local lads were speaking English with think Irish accents. So cool! Can't wait to visit the Leb when Big Johnny Cough Cough fecks off
You do know European people were in Lebanon, Iran, Iraq etc. for centuries before colonization. Before any major war. Its where the word Aryan comes from. Iranian
I'm Lebanese, and my DNA results showed 100% LEVANT blood: no Sub-Saharan African, No European, No Arabian Peninsula. My ancestors would have been the Canaanites/Phoeniciand who converted to Christianity and never mixed with Arabs.
canaanites ancestors were from the oldest farmers group, just as the Berbers and the Egyptians, they are their youngest brothers and many Berbers tribes are from Canaanites and not only ancient Libyans, they’re all brothers anyway. And I don’t like the way you spoke about Arabs. Lol, you’re already a people borned by the admixtures between the Canaanites and Arameans related ethnicities, mostly Phoenicians indeed for your case. Arameans are an ancient northern Semitic group with various tribes and people and where living between the Assyro-Babylonians, the southern Sabaeans ( the mains ancestors of the pure Arabs, the Arabians ones especially Yemenis and Omanis people ) and the Egyptians Kingdom including the Canaanites. Arameans and AssyroBabylonians share a common ancestry, the ancient Akkadians. And according to all the late archeological/scientifical facts the Akkadians were a group of people that fled long time ago the Arabian Peninsula probably during its desertification. It’s exactly at that time that the Sabaeans and Akkadians commons ancestors splitted… The J1c3 subclade of the J1/J2 family is the last one that left the Arabian peninsula and correspond to « Abraham’s people story ». That’s why many arabs are genetically jews ( it’s not jew, it’s Hebrew, the pure Arab is Sabaic, the pure Levantine is Aramaics, the Hebrew is simply someone between both ancestors, including that Aramaic and Arabic have also again the same original paternal ancestor ) So watch your mouth young sister, your face and features don’t lie. Yes proud that you are Phoenicians, but you are Semitic and Canaanites both. You are arab, you can’t call yourself Persian or Greek, you’re not from Indo-Europeans fathers and even mothers considering what you’re saying to me, you seem like many modern day levantines to have a significative late Anatolian Farmer admixtures, so aren’t you lying a little bit to me and hiding your Hittites and Ludivites ancestors from Japhets ? It’s them who got our bloods ( Greeks, Anatolia, Persia, Abyssinia, Sudan ) much more than the reverse. You are arab, no matter what.. So don’t make me laugh with your « Never mixed with Arabs » like you were something racially different from the start 🤡🤣😂, I am Edomites/Moabites/Ammonites/Madiannites ( All called Ishmaelites basically ) trough my father and Amazigh Zenetas the gloriest ones from Tamazgha with Ptolemaics and Canaanite Philistines ancestors trough my mother. You and I are pretty much similar and the closest than before anyone else. that’s so pitiful to read that, and even more sad especially from a young charming mediteranean/semitic woman as you.. PS : Modern day northern levantines are the most admixed Semitics people with Canaanites ancestors of the western of them with Indo-Europeans lates civilizations. Whatever you will say to me. An average Yemeni/Omani guy like the youtube guy DullaMula 😂 is more purely Semites than any other else in the whole MidEast. Keep that in mind. Again, you are arab, no matter what, this is deeply in you and this is what your oldest phoenician ancestor Aramaic were exactly 😂🤡 you’re just playing the chest’s western game. 🤡

I'm at lose of words... I've never seen that before. It's so wrong it actually bothers me because in 2019 we still have people who don't know what other peoples from other region looks like. I'm 100% african of bantu and nilotic origin from central/east africa, i have a huge beard, a small nose, small lips, but very dark skin, some family members of mine are 100% african black and have lighter skin than most african american, some have almost totally black skin, some doesn't grow a lot of facial hair and others have a huge beard like mine, some are very short, i have an uncle who is 5'3 or something, some are very tall, I have family members that are 6'3, they are all close family, we are diverse, actually it's proven that there is more genetical diversity in africa than in the rest of the world combined. You really should learn more about the world.

I'm Jew and my family are Mountain Jews. What I mostly knew about Mountain Jews were that they are the oldest exiled Jews back from the Babylonian exile, who settled around West Asia and mainly Iran (which makes me "Mizrahi" Jew.) Therefore I expected to have much Middle Eastern and Irani DNA mostly, but anyway here are my results: "Mizrahi Jewish - Iranian/Iraqi [38.3%], West Asian *Azerbaijan [30.6%], Middle Eastern [26.2%] (mostly Levanite and some Egyptian), Greek and South Italian [4.9%]" The Italian/Greek part is an amusing addition, but other then that everything is pretty spot on and fit the stories that are passed down in my family about the ancestry of the Mountain Jews.

The yemeni guy looks straight East African (horn of Africa To Be Specific) like Somali or Eritrean/Ethiopian so that wasn’t surprising And although he’s from Yemen he’s obviously an Afro Arab
@ghasan23 No, Ethiopians are genetically closer to Somalis (Cushites) than Yemenis, but linguistically yes you are closer to Ethiopians. Most Habesha Ethiopians are linguistically shifted Cushitics, meaning they are a genetically Cushitic people who adopted Semitic language.
@ghasan23 I already state that Habeshas are language wise closer to Yemenis, i'm not disputing that. But genetically they are more related to Cushitic people, in fact it has been found through genetics that Habeshas are probably Agaws (Cushites) who changed languages. Yemeni DNA in Habeshas is no more than 15%.
Assalamu Alaikum, Azul fellak my brother in blood and in Islam. 100% Amazigh here from Algeria. A lot of Arabized Amazigh think that they came from the Levant or the arabian peninsula because, after the French colonial era, the gulf countries started spreading their agendas in North Africa. You at least have 5% Arab. I know some hardcore Arabs from algeria who took a DNA test and had no relation with the Arabs whatsoever and boy they were pissed. Also, keep in mind that Cartage was primarily composed of mercenaries, which mostly were Amazigh, so there ya go.
And sttubornly so. I had a very heated argument with a Tunisian once because he said he was Arab and I told him that if he run a DNA test he would be surprised that he is just arabised and not Arab. Not only was he dismissive, he was very disrespectful to indigenous people of North Africa, and even suggested that North Africa spoke Arabic before islamisation. Shows you how ignorant some people can be. North Africa/Maghreb are really just arabised Amazigh
@misscongeniality851 Ignorance is a powerful tool that the elites use, unfortunately. Take, for instance, whether it's Iran or Afghanistan or even Pakistan. The Farsi, the Pashtu, and the Urdu are all written languages using Arabic alphabets. Which one of these is closer to the arabian peninsula, Iran or Morocco? Yet Iranians or Afghans never questioned their origins and thought they were Arabs even though Iran could literally be seen from Saoudi Arabia with naked eyes. Just like the persians contributed to the Islamic civilization, Amazigh people contributed as well and should be proud of that. Thanemirth

@haifa lifestyle Indonesian & Indian? I've never heard or read that in my entire life. I have nothing to gain by lying, I only share what I've learned from scholarly sources. And I never said that Yemeni's were pure arabs, I said that they are the closest you'll get to pure Arabs today which is kind of a misnomer because Arabs are not a pure breed, they are a mixed race to begin with. By pure I meant the closest to that original admixture of indigenous peoples in Southern Arabia and East Africa. The ancient Arabs which were the Qahtani Arabs originated in Yemen ie. The Aad and Thamud people. I'm not implying that the Adnani Arabs which are more recent are any less Arab. The other ethnicities in the video were not even Adnani Arabs but only Arab culturally.
@Jon Gandee yes, they do, because their dna is mixed with European (this is what i am trying to make my husband understand). The mutation of the gene responsible for the light colored eyes happened in Eastern / Northern Europe around 10,000 years ago, acording to the latest studies. And with the migration of the tribes and the inslavery of them by Romans at first, and the exploration of new lands and continent's later, this gene spread to the Middle and East Asia as well as Middle East and Africa. Basically, all blue eyed people share the same ancestor.
I'm not surprised that Northern Africa and the Middle East have a wide variety of DNA. Since it is the areas of the oldest civilization, that's a lot of time for a mix of different races/ethnicities. It's cool finding out we are more than just the small part we grew up knowing about.

Of mixed Arab, Spanish, and Amazigh (Berber) origins, the Moors created the Islamic Andalusian civilization and subsequently settled as refugees in the Maghreb (in the region of North Africa) between the 11th and 17th centuries. By extension (corresponding to the Spanish moro), the term occasionally denotes any Muslim in general, as in the case of the “Moors” of Sri Lanka or of the Philippines.
