The Global Awareness Program seeks to bridge cultures by emphasizing that cultural diversity is a source of enrichment rather than a source of confusion and strife.
Au pairs, who have been selected and trained by their community counselors, participate with children in their classrooms by either supporting the existing curriculum or by presenting age-appropriate modules aimed at enhancing multi-cultural knowledge.
Au pairs are young women from around the world who come to the United States with Au Pair in America to live with American families and care for their children during a mutually rewarding cultural exchange experience. Au Pair in America is a program of the American Institute For Foreign Study.
