Perhaps you did not comprehend what he said. A wise person can realize that until he's checked everything as well as documentation and the laws, he can only say that he will try to do it. You would be silly to promise something to a person and then not be able to deliver.

He was not eligible for citizenship to being with- but they are only " considering" it now? The person who approved it should face criminal charges as their negligence rose to the level of criminality. In fact, Canada should freeze all immigration while it does an entire review of all cases that have been approved under Trudeau's watch. I'm guessing he is not the only bad apple to slip through; one wonders how this is possible and can only assume it is because the people approving these applications SUPPORT this kind of behavior.
