Quite intrigued as to how that machine works since the thread doesn't seem to be thread through the needle, but might just be a mirage. Would be interesting to see a really slow slowmotion of that one.
Depending on the machine SM-7773 which is 3 needle or the SM-7774 which is 4 needle, they can remove one or two needle(s) the awl(s) and the needle guides.
