There was a Fort Smith Arkansas Gunsmith business named Bullseye Precision between 1998 and 2003. It was owned by Buddy Hogan, and he trained under Bill Wilson (Wilson Combat) in Berryville, Arkansas. He was a great guy. His father was a shooting competitor in the in the 1960's and 1970's and his name was Woody Hogan. Buddy built several 1911's for me and two Glocks. Buddy also worked for me as a part time National Guard soldier at Fort Chaffee Maneuver Training Center. When I saw the name of your channel, it brought back great memories from over 20 years ago.

Appreciate the video, for us watching on iPhones/ipad it would be a special treat if the camera was closer. I know it’s easy for seasoned people but us new to Glock want to see exactly what your doing. Thank you for sharing

can you guys clarify why johnny glock states not to use polish with amonia in it which fritz has?
@flitz
@flitz Год назад
@@Snipes287 We're not sure who Johnny Glock is or what he said. But FLITZ has an extremely mild ammonia extract. If using on a GLOCK, we would recommend using FLITZ Ceramic Gun Sealant to protect.

Unfortunately, this video segment are for experienced armors, or Thusi us that are very familiar with the Glock mechanisms. He did not double check the firing pin after assembly to see if the firing pin was restricted by pushing the firing pin button. He also did not illustrate that the slide release Hass to be positioned properly to introduce the pin back into final assembly. While this may be small, but not trivial, they are very important for the final assembly of the firearm.

Its just a waste of our time for people cloning other peoples content. I would love one of these, to show groups before and after the trigger job. BUT not one channel show's that. So either everyone is a Clone or this make no difference in tight groups. But Thats how Social Media is today, full of shit!

After how many rounds is recommended for a deep clean ? Thnks in advance for your reply.
@bullseyeprecision
@bullseyeprecision Год назад
That’s really personal preference. It is “recommended” to deep clean your pistol every 3000 rounds. I personally deep clean mine every time I come back from the range. Average pistol day would be around 200-500 rounds.

I just went over my Glock uppers on my gen 5 26 9mm & my used Glock 22 gen 4(ext had Carbon Grey Cerakote Elite). I used a bit of Slip 2000 725 cleaner. ✔️ I added a after market Milspin black(cerakote) US Flag back plate to my Glock 26 9mm. Note; both of my Glocks have steel Lone Wolf Alpha 🐺 extractors. My Glock 26 gen 5 was around 3+ years old. I've only shot about 1600 rounds, factory JHP & FMJ. No problems.

Hi Quick question I was thinking about polishing my trigger guard because I bought a naked holster and it removed the finish on my Glock 19 Gen 5 trigger Making the trigger guard finish look faded Do you think if I polish the trigger guard on my Glock 19 Gen 5 the trigger guard will look new again
@bullseyeprecision
@bullseyeprecision 2 года назад
You can try it lightly with a cloth or Q-Tip and it might bring some color/vibrance back, but it more than likely wont bring it back to its original look. (Be careful when polishing, especially if your using power like a dremel. It can melt and remove the polymer, leaving your pistol worse than when you started). I personally would just leave it how it is now, because every time you take it out of that holster it’s going to remove the finish again.

@@bullseyeprecision Thanks I was thinking once I stop using the naked holster to fix it I like the naked holster it feel like I don’t have a gun on my hip but it’s taking the finish off the trigger guard I guess from the naked holster rubbing on the trigger guard when un holstering the gun I will try to fix it to resell the gun in the future do you think Glock offers a lower So I can send it to them and they can install a lower or Glock doesn’t do that Thanks Joe

Went too fast out the gate, can’t clean it, because it not clear how you took off the barrel and the rest was unclear as well. just some feedback, not everyone knows how to do the first early steps.

Continue to use the Glock factory applied Copper colored Bronze Oilite Anti-friction lubricant on the friction points of the slide and trigger bar. The connector has 3 important friction points that benefit from the Glock factory applied Copper colored lubrication. Oil and grease are not a replacement for the copper colored lubricant. Oil and grease only provide Anti-friction when they are wet. Wet lubrication will attract dust and unburnt powder. Bronze Oilite Anti-friction bearings are self lubricanting with oil embedded within. I have found the Glock factory applied Copper colored Bronze Oilite lubricant in online shopping sites like Mercari and others. Copper colored lubricant will also eliminate the need for polish because the tiny ball bearings fill in any low spots on the connector and trigger bar making a very smooth trigger.

I agree it’s not the best but this should help a little. If you want a big difference you’ll definitely have to put an aftermarket trigger in. I have a Zev Drop in on a few of mine👍
