They really do need to innovate more. But I still like the 43X that's why I run the PSA micro dagger 15 round mag with the shield arms gen 3 or 2 magazines. Thousands of rounds through each of these mags and zero issues. Otherwise I wouldn't even use the Glock 43X because it would be irrelevant nowadays.
I do, I have three of them and have thousands of rounds through each one of them with no issues. I don't trust anything unless I have over a thousand rounds through it. For me the Shield arms mags have also done really well, I've had no issues with those either both Gen 2 and Gen 3.
Awesome 43X for sure. I personally ok with stock magazines and practice malfunction drills and reloads cause I'd rather be able to tap & rack or quick reload quick when a malfunction happens due to stress and other factors. That said still like to get few PSA mags to test myself before carrying. Awesome video 👍
Great video, I really appreciate you displaying all the magazines available for the G43x .. I have OEM, PSA and Shield 3 Gen. I was only was using OEM and PSA with no problem. Now I’ll use the 3 mags from Shield 3rd Gen just holding in the mag release. Thanks
Does the cerakote extend into inside the grip? A buddy has a Glock 17 with cerakote and coverage is inside the grip and he’s noticed it causes some slight drag on mag changes. I’ve noticed it slightly on a G17 I ah e with cerakote frame. My 43x and 48 without cerakote both drop free reliability with Glock OEM mags.
7:08 that was part of the original design by Gaston. He figured it’s easier to retain the mag for reloads than it dropping freely. I guess times changed.
Great a Glock that shoots, functions, feels, looks and bores the soul like any other Glock……. 4 decades old, it fits perfectly in the role of nostalgia collectible for it offers nothing new or different, just 3 flavors of lipstick on the same old pig.
Lol, why are you watching Glock videos and commenting on them then? I'm not a huge Glock fan over all but I do like the 43x and 20. I totally get your point though but disagree with you on the 43x because personally I think it's the best Glock ever made minus the 10 round mag which is why I run the Shield Arms or PSA 15 round mags. Love the 3 flavors of lipstick comment!
I liked your video of the Sig x-ten, I’m a fan of the 10mm and the p320 platform. I agree on the 43x and the S15 or PSA mag. It’s what the 9mm Glock should have been, even though I’m no fan of Glock or the 9mm. I’m biased towards the 357 sig I think it has everything you look for on a self defense semiautomatic cartridge especially the power, I wonder if you could make a video about it.
if Glock finally stops being a puss and comes out with a 15 round mag then ill scoop one of these again. They make a great gun, but as a company they are too scared to try something new and dent their reputation if it fails.
It's called a Glock 19. Different pistols are manufactured for different jobs. This is a concealed carry. If you want higher capacity, get a battle pistol...
@@noahgullion2 You're kidding, right ? Literally the only thing Glock fans have to say about them is that they're reliable. Otherwise everything about them is generations behind the times, and anyone who can't admit to that is in extreme denial.
@@whatwouldlewdo Definitely not a Glock fanboy but I do have a 43x mos model. When picking it I also was looking at the sig 365 and similar pistols. Please enlighten me on how everything about it is generations behind? The only thing I can think of would be stock mag capacity.
@@noahgullion2 Capacity, grip angle, grip texture, sighting system, aesthetics (just better looking overall), shootability, better triggers, innovation -- like, come on, mate. You guys gotta be pulling my leg here...
Really wish they put a damn, normal barrel in there. It's a CCW. Not a duty pistol. They threaded barrel is a turn off, big time. It's pointless. Glocks are terrible with a silencer. Also, holster compatibility.
i'd rather just get the sig 365. It's just better. especially for carry. Glock is dead in the water right now. Cringe fanboys are holding it up like Hercules.
@@9MilRidge I almost bought a Taurus gx4 carry but have heard too many people say they had to send it back nothing catastrophic just slide release stopped working
@@9MilRidge also i am not trying to sound like an arrogant person i own a few glocks even clones they are great but nothing seems really new from them , like the 19X mos. Taurus released that with the g3 tactical for half the price and they expect hard working americans to buy the 19x the way it should’ve already been released. I don’t know but someone needs to take over for Glock and keep it relevant i know it still is but it’s losing popularity big time. Especially with concealed carry. They have so many great products it’s time for something actually new for the customers !
I’m curious what you think is making is dead in the water right now? I haven’t really felt like they haven’t been pulling their weight. Could you give some examples?
