Your VOICE! I thought you were using a voice changer...lol. Please, don't take that the wrong way sweetie. Your voice made me smile. I lost my husband in May, and 3 months later I lost my beautiful 32 yr old daughter to cancer. NOTHING has made me smile... until you came along. TY sweerie. I so needed that. Unfortunately whenever my bewbies hear this song they just start dancing by themselves. 😂😂😂

"Turn the Beat Around" was a top ten hit in the US for Vicki Sue Robinson in 1976. Gloria Estefan released her version of the song in 1994 for the soundtrack to the film The Specialist, starring Sylvester Stallone and Sharon Stone. That's why there are so many explosions in the video. Estafan's cover does justice to the song, but the original captures a fire her cover lacks.

this is a remake of vicki sue robinson version of the song, gloria estefan did this video 3 years after being in a bad bus accident and had to get a steel rod for her spine

Great video! I love that you actually think about the video you are watching. The song is about the joy of music, particularly in a club. This video is a remix that gives it a cheesy sexual nuance that doesn’t add anything better to the original. Love your commentary and joyful expression! So, your first impression was right! ✌️
