We wen't on a lovely tractor run on Easter Saturday in memory of Mick. A great selection of tractors, Bob breaking down and me taking the TW for a lovely Swim!
Why did this put such a big smile on my face, so many memory's of when i was a kid came flooding back, we had a little old farm behind our home as kids, and often heard these old tractors chugging around the farm yard
That looked like a good laugh! I'm getting into my tractor runs but can never find the right gear rolling with the older stuff lol. Looking forward to my next one at tractor fest up here in 5 weeks 😊
Great to watch! Some nice old tractors 👌 The TW25 looked well & Sounded lovely. Not sure I'd be wanting to take her swimming if she was mine. Great video 👍
I enjoyed it, not so sure the Environment Agency will though...just be careful of what you put on social media...some fish farms also take water off rivers, and their fish can suffer...a lesson learned from experience lol.
Love them old super dexta's I went to school in a farming area and the schools groundsman always had his dexta with his old mower. He had her in mint condition and never seen it broke down
Seeing all the tractors drive past into the field on that curved piece of road made me realise how quiet that Fendt is! Most tractors here in Japan are small (they need to be for the rice fields) so it is rare to get up and close these days to a modern tractor the size of that Fendt. Damn I miss driving tractors....
Absolutely brilliantly entertaining and informative video. I'm sorry I missed this road run i would have liked to point my camera at this lot, well done George.
In usa u do same thing on motorcycles if i can only imagin seing a tractor gang of tractors blowing down the road haha looks like fun id love to drive my tractor around like this usa id get arested i thinkk
Looked like a great day out 😉🚜. Those who get the farmers weekly will know good old hmrc are trying to ruin all this by wanting us all on white diesel now for events like this... so sad #justleaveusalone 🙈🙈🙈
I didn't know tractor gangs were a thing. I got my VW Passat full of water to the bottom of the doors in Harold once. Too stupid to stop when it was flooded, and the seals weren't as good as I thought. Did you ever try a Lamborghini tractor? I think there used to be a dealer somewhere down near Flitwick when I worked there at Hunting in the 80s and 90s.
Same in New Zealand! All waterways must be fenced off to keep animals out, the banks must have riparian planting. Farms with Ford's to cross streams are only allowed to use them for crossing with machines, not livestock. Ford's that need repairing or replacing must be replaced with culvert crossings/ bridges. An enormous expense for small farms.
that corner where you said we probably saw it in a few other vids....think you went screaming past that corner a couple times in the JCB back in the older vids
Do you know what a Field Marshall Diesel Tractor is, George? It's a single cylinder two-stroke diesel engined tractor from the 40s and 50s. Do you know if there's one in your area? Thanks, matey! Nice run though! Regards Stuart
Not much green in the run, my JD2035 highcrop/maxicrop would have looked good in there. Are there many 70's JD's still about in UK, i don't see many on youtube. Nice get together and video.
I knew your roads are narrow, BUT that is just a one lane road! Here in Kansas we have gravel roads wider than those roads. I guess all drivers have to be extra courteous.
Really nice George I'm restoring a 1974 International 354 my great grandad had it from new he also had a major well have a look on my channel if you want well done George
