Seeing this video in 2022 and seeing comments knowing he was gonna be a star in the UFC is actually insane. The amount of cheering he got when they called his name compared to now. Delayed gratification is key to success. Hard work will never pay off overnight.
Not true he lost the fight, he won the second rd after clearly losing the thrid commentator was right it was 1-1 coming into the thrid and he clearly lost the thrid alot of his strikes didn't land clean was either avoided or blocked so they don't get counted, he definitely lost in significant strikes as although izzy didn't throw as much he landed more of his strikes clean and did more damage, so therefore izzy was the more effective fighter in the rds he won and he won 2-1 perfect decision from the judges Just don't see how you can say belgaroui won that last rd lool literally gassing out ,swinging for the fences and getting countered for alot of it, that doesn't win you fights, have to learn the fight game makes it easier for people like me to not have to explain to you why you are wrong have a good day
@bLaCk One word with no other context? thanks for saying you agree but too bitter to admit it and why lool, passive aggressive way to cry basically, weird
@Black bitches want white pornstars Well but they do take damage in each fight, but I agree kickboxing fights are like 9 minutes long with 3 minutes break.
@Black bitches want white pornstars So I have competed in Wrestling, Jui-Jitsu, MMA, Kickboxing and Muay Thai. I know the point you are trying to make but it is wildly inaccurate. Just because the rounds are longer in MMA does not mean that they are more physically exhausting. In boxing, Kickboxing and Muay Thai, there is no opportunity for rest. The ref will break your clinch if you attempt to rest and you continue. In MMA, you can clinch and grapple, pull guard and hip control your opponent to get rest. There are countless MMA fights that are boring with little action. The rounds are 5 minutes because there isn't nearly as much striking action and if the fight goes to the ground, 3 minutes is a very short period for any ground artist to get work done.
Surprised Adesanya is so frequently slipping the jab on the inside. he could easily get clocked by a cross. At 8:56 and 12:48, Yousri starts learning this. At 8:56, Yousri times the slip with a kick the third time, and at 12:48 he almost got a cross on adesanya (but adesanya beat him to it haha)
Both sides can be called out, Izzy's fans for defending him agaisnt his Whittaker rematch or this fight, but saying he got robbed against Alex the first fight.
@@Anub1s1546 The 3 round fight just worked against Izzy that time. Alex won the first 2 rounds barely while Izzy dominated the third. Overall Izzy did better but it was still 2-1 in favor of Alex.
how sway?? you one of those that gives every round to mayweather even when he losing....gtfoh have you seen the total strikes landed? your a joke get outta here groupie
I agree, but it also shows the level of conditioning needed for high level combat sports. It weeds out the average fighters and benefits the phenomenal ones.
Based off what you just said 70 more strikes that were missed should win him a fight? Total % of izzys strikes that landed are 44% were as Yousri 40%... 24 power shots? Majority of the clean power shots are izzys. Yousri definitely won r2 but izyy took r1 and r3.
Adesanya style is beautiful he is awesome and he think and can do what's in he's mind i mean he's opponent bigger and higher and nothing changes in he's mind he's superior and do like that. You got that Adesanya you're great doing that.
except when he fought Anderson and wouldnt stop talking about how he knew everything Anderson was going to do and how he basically didnt have a chance against him
People say Izzy hasn’t fought anyone lengthy I found a lot of fights where’s he’s fighting taller people with more range my bet is he gives jones a fight if it happens and he shocks the world at lhw
@@mygodness3553 you mean at the beginning of his 80 fight kickboxing career? Where he never got knocked out again? You realize he’s 20x better then what he was at the start of his career right you realize fighters get better as they go right? You realize every person that goes into the ring with Izzy gets absolutely shut down right?
Does anyone else notice how good the ref is he. Interrupting the fight is his last option and he communicates with the fighters well without distracting
Tammy Green it is.. they don’t know who he is and treated him like a man a human not a black scary monster. Been there and I felt the same. I was like man is it all the weed smoke every one is smoking that got them so chill?!?
I have been watching this channel for two days now, because i am seeing the names like Yousri, Pereira and now Adesanya! i mean... UFC is just a glory ground. these guys were warriors since the beginning
Close fight. I think Adesanya won 1 and 3. Adesanya adjusted to much more boxing and almost no kicks in the 2nd round which didn’t work out at first. But in the 3rd Adesanya started using a bit more kicks and found more success in his boxing. Adesanya clinched it for me in the last 30 seconds with his slipping, dodging, and clean boxing. Adesanya also dictated pace and controlled the fight especially in the 3rd
This is a very early stage of his development into the 'style bender'... It's almost like watching a completely different fighter. He's gone to the moon and back since then.
1 and 3 pretty clearly in Izzy's favor. Wild that this went to a split 😂 This is exactly why you dont judge a fight off of stats. Well over half of Yousri's power strikes barely landed at all. Izzy was crisper, cleaner, more technical across the board, and landed the biggest shots
Idk how any fighter can watch the beauty of izzy’s foot work/head movement and how he rarely ever takes hard shots cuz of it and continue to have a stand and bang mentality learn people 🤦♂️
Is colorado really like that? I remember being in Vegas of all places with a mixed black and white group and the waitress came up to us and said, in the most innocent way how great it was to see. Coming from London I'd never heard the like. I was genuinely shocked that the vista of black and whites hanging out together was noteworthy
Israel is pretty amazing, but a lot of his moxie seems to derive from his height. He is not so flamboyant nor effective against an opponent taller than he. IA won, of course, but it was at times a struggle and he took far more punishment than usual.
I think Israel he said those gloves so much you change sports. Mentioned it a couple of times in interviews as one of the reasons he prefers MMA. His accuracy becomes more of a factor with smaller gloves so he’s able to outclass volume guys with efficiency.
I don't get why people hating on stylebender his striking was clearly more clener nd effective nd did more damage but it was close fight just like other fight he lost to champion
