@@ruzziasht349 Fists the size of house bricks and shaking hands with a baseball mit would be my go to. Or dinner plate. bunch of bananas is funny af. never heard it before.
I will leave it at this: John Mccarthy is the ref in this fight and he has said multiple times on his podcast he thinks Stylebender should have won that fight.
AJD he’s also the guy in the ring studying the fight. The referee is the best person to ask who won a fight. Especially the man who wrote the MMA rule book and the best to ever do it.
@@dailyqld7112 - He's the ref, he doesn't have time to study the fight whilst doing that job which makes him a bad person to judge who won at that point. If he watched it afterwards and then said who he thought won then I'd have no problem with agreeing with him.
AJD nope, Marc Goddard even says on Tom Hardy’s, podcast he’s not watching the fight, he’s studying it. The next best person after the refs (which know how to do their job) is the referee.
Definitely cringed a bit when I heard that lol Reminds me of Waynes world where the guy with the glass eye is looking at Wayne to sign the contract and Wayne says something to the effect of "I'll look over it an make sure to cross all my T's and dot my....uhhh lower case J's", avoiding eye contact! Ha classic!
Fuck this glory shit because it is their fighter they give him more points he is completely outboxed that willness can only more score points with his leg kicks
26:21 spinning leg kick, landed on his head percfectly Judges: no reaction Other guy lands a leg kick that barely damages Adesanya Judges: now thats power! Ayeeeeee
That spinning kick was not "landed perfectly". Also the amount and the strength of the legkicks of wilnis was hilarious. He had many good punches too. It might not have been the clearest fight, but the decision is the right one in my opinion. I am an Adesanya fan myself, but people saying the decision was incorrect do not see things neutral in my eyes.
After the last round and before the decision was announced, Wilnis can be seen in his corner shaking his head meanwhile Israel is confidently dancing in his corner.
When fighting a championship match the objective is never to make it look like a close match. The judges will always give it to the reigning champion when it looks close to a tie. Adesanya learned a valuable lesson that day.
Izzy is such a master at his art. So focused and so accurate and so very fast. He never ceases to amaze me each and Everytime I watch him fight. POETRY IN MOTION. HANDS DOWN MY FAVORITE UFC FIGHTER OF ALL TIME.
Wilnis not only controled distance and landed more strikes, but 20% were landed clean! While Adesanya landed 90% in Wilnis guard. At 29:32" you can see the file of number of strikes.
The Greatman lol I know what I’m looking at fool, Wilnis didn’t even do “damage” like all you morons think, he threw 70 leg kicks and Israel wasn’t visibly hurt and he didn’t slow down his volume. Israel landed knees to the body, head kicks, body kicks, leg kicks and out-struck him with punches. This was a clear robbery and you’re a pussy.
@The Greatman that's defensive skills bro.so u want him stay like a fool there n take punches.hell no that's his way of defense n it's always worked out good.he was robbed point blank.he attacked n defended well and others agreed with me.read all comments. And I bet u are one of many hating on him for beating whittaker.u all should just give him respect.he is the new UFC middleweight champ period n he's gona kill all others in his division defending his belt. Let's go Izzy Naija boy!!
It doesn’t matter that Israel was hitting him a lot if his strikes don’t look like they’re doing anything. Wilnis’ strikes visibly did way more than Israel’s, judges always judge the quality of strike over quantity. Wilnis walked through izzys strikes, however Izzy had his legs kicked out from under him and was well countered at every opportunity
These commentators were Wilnis Cheerleaders regardless of whether you thought Wilnis or Adesanya won the fight. I personally had it 4/1 or 3/2 for Adesanya.
thats glory, get used to it. it wouldve been even worse had adasnya been from thailand, check out the matches bewteen robin van roosmalen vs sittichai. the judges gave sittichai 1 of the 2 matches, but the 1 they gave him was a split decision when they both shouldve been unanimous. bunch of bullshit, if you arent a euro fighter, the odds are stacked heavily against you in glory.
if you want less elevated blood pressure from match results, watch k1 instead of glory, the japanese have a much much much better league. also the k1 champs make glory champs look like a fucking joke. takeru segawa would destroy even the middleweight guys in glory. hes a featherweight, and has been sparring with tj dillashaw, bantam weight champ of ufc and takeru humiliates him at around 20lb disadvantage lol so much so that dillashaw took a sucker punch after the timer, knowingly because he tantrumed and stormed off after.
It was a technical fight. Adesanya should be very careful. And should be able to defend himself well. It's not about the skills but which of his throws landed on the opponent.
StreamFan 68 two dumbasses why the fuck do you think till can even hang with israel ?! Til is a welterweight 6'0 and a striker izzy is 6'3 and has 60+ kickboxing fights ... Israel will destroy till in less than a round
austn8675 too small man and there are different levels to kickboxing, till didnt fought for a world titles or anybody with a name in that sport also as i said earlier theres huge difference in weight ... Israel fought as high as 100 kilos and beat 3 HEAVYWEIGHTS in one night to win a kickboxing tournament. If he was a wrestler i would maybe understand but he is good at what israel is good at and israel is 1 way better than him at that and 2 way way bigger. *mic drop*
@@no.step.on.snek.2423 nope.. watch the fight against Alex. Adesanya domnitas most of the time, then Alex land an absurd punch and KO Adesanya from nowhere
@@D.heARTist owl quitit with da spelling b dick,,,,, oh sorry david definitely a Women,,,, yeah nah the boys talking da pono alright,,an well said Ian,wing,, an ill fly the flag, wash the jersey n even whip in the oranges @ half time.. cause izzy team lived through more years n fights then old dick fuck dat fight was rigged n his team have had hot dinners,,
Honestly Jason Wilnis blocking and lowkicks were far superior and, assuming they were his main combination for a gameplan, not surprising that he have won. He scored countless lowkicks, and hit them both heavily and swiftly. This wasn't Bruce Lees touching with a finger or pushing sandbag with whole body at 10inch per second, a guy actually performed the fastest and hardest connection at the same time. Can tell it's hella pain even checking such lowkick, and he wasn't even letting to do it, aimed differently a lot plus counterkicked.
Rinkamars Mark those head and body strikes didnt do shit to his opponent 97% of those strikes were block while the other corner were countering and connecting clear shots to the head and body plus leg kicks that hurt adeanya both legs
@@projectbaby9252 if the guy is good at absorbing shot's good for him ,but doesn't mean their not effective but i'm glad izi lost the fight couse if not probaly would be' still in glory and miss his mma jump
J p exactly ineffective it took him 70 legs kicks coming into the 5th round to see Israel slow down. Enough ineffective legs kicks will equal to an effective result
It was a close fight that could've gone to either. Izzy was landing it everywhere but Wilnis's kicks felt powerful and he also started landing some good punches in the later rounds. I felt like Wilnis won R 1 by the skin of his teeth and then won R 3 and 4 while Izzy won R 2 and 5. The commentary was very biased towards Wilnis. They were constantly talking about a guy's KO power who even now has 8 KO/TKOs in 31 wins. They were talking about how Wilnis's leg kicks were doing "More Damage" and hurting Izzy while barely mentioning Izzy's work. I mean Izzy was dancing after the fight. Neither of them seriously hurt the other in this fight and it could've gone to either in my opinion.
After this lose Izzy ran away to mma so he can run and duck in the ring and go leg kicks so yes Izzy was outmatched in kickboxing his opponents figured him out and he ran away from the sport
@@wingedhussar1453 riiiiight, he ran away, to a sport that is much harder, much more dangerous and has higher level opponents? Ok bud, I see you've also replied to everyone that has talked about Israel too, god damn, are you some but hurt Costa fan or something? 🤣🤣🤣
@@felixpollock596 mma is not much more dangerous than kickboxing at this level… And what do you mean higher level opponents? It’s not harder either, kickboxing and boxing is a sport most people would have to do from a very young age, it requires much higher skill to be an expert at something like that. While in mma you got guys at the highest level with only street fighting experience like Derrick Lewis and Tai Tuivasa, or football players ffs…
What? Adesanya was always circling out because of the other fighter pressure and constantly countered especially on the last rounds... More than fair the judges decision. And yes he was more active but most of his attacks got blocked and countered with a significant strike
Most of Adesanya's losses have come in the way of "Judges".......Most people hate him for his confidence. That includes judges. Most people can't stand confident people. That's the epidemic of this era.
Lol all these Izzy boys who don't even watch kickboxing full-time. Peppering shots don't mean s*** for most part. That's what he does against higher level competition.
I feel really bad for Izzy. He definitely should have won this fight. He fought very well. But the rules count leg kicks and aggression more in glory kickboxing. If this was mma this would have been a unanimous decision victory for Izzy. His feints, fast twitch movements, distance management and setups are the best of this generation for a middleweight. And it also sucks knowing that he was winning the fight with Alex pereira and ended up getting knocked out. He must have felt devastated after those two back-to-back losses, knowing he technically beat Jason and was winning against Alex until he wasn't. I hope one day people recognize how revolutionary his skill is and not label him as a runner.
Why? This fight went the right way, Wilnis was blocking Israel’s strikes and throwing, and connecting! Those leg strikes were always significant, most of his boxing was significant, not to mention he was walking down Izzy. Izzy only had a fair share of significant strikes. Not to mention when you got a guy shouting “AYY” every time Wilnis hits a strike, it makes it sound significant, even to Israel.
Adesanya is first and last best fighter in ufc that i have ever seen ... i admire how he moves and plays with the opponents ... his style is so unique and his fights are amazing.... even im a girl i am trying not miss one fight of him... im like woooooooooow ... he never dissapoints me .... good job ♡♡♡
If you’re a lady and understand what a real fight is I wonder what’s wrong with the some gullible men who never something interesting on him, that’s pure hatred to me
Paul Velazquez are you joking? I agree round 3-4 he didn’t win but watch 1-2 and 5. There’s no way besides leg kicks that he lost those rounds. He stayed on the outside and landed clean shots the whole round each time
@@alecrobertson2283 I had wilnis up 3 rounds to 2, adesanya was definitely not landing clean shots lol. Wilnis had a nice tight guard and countered him every at every turn.
Jason Wilnis has a hectic high guard. Israel had a lot of trouble getting past his solid guard. Lots of power in Jason's legkicks, but the fight came down to a really fine line, really.
I really need to see a MMA fight where Izzy really lost outright except Alex perreira’s KO which he was clearly winning until he got struck. He’s always entertaining. Great guy.
Did you watch this fight? This is exactly what it is, Izzy was getting outstruck. Especially in significant strikes. His strikes did nothing, Wilnis walked him down and counter struck him very well. Izzy did well to block, but if his chin was any worse he would be out.
Wilnis suffered hardly any damage. All Izrael's punches hit his gloves while Wilnis rocked Israel with many more full contact head punches and many more kicks. Plus Wilnis dominated the ring the whole 5 rounds always chasing, relentless.
It s difference between absorbing a opp full kick power and moving your legs with but away from your opp kick decreasing the damage. This was definitely a bad judgement call.
People who think Adesanya won this fight should learn some kickboxing rules. Jabbing and kneeimg someone on his guard doesn't earn you points. Wilnis hit less, but when he hit it was a score. Clear win for Wilnis.
@@ottovonbismarck5007 only classe that have many good fighters are light heavyweight,in the heavy weight u only have Rico and Badr the rest cant compare to them, middle weight u have only Pereira with Welter only Doumbe, look in light weight u have Grigorain he is the champ only cause Sittachai go to another organisatian
Winis pareceu mais efetivo, na chuva de chutes e com mais gás pra o término da luta! Grandes guerreiros.. enfeites demais nem sempre dá vitória,.. né izzy 😅😅
Notice how Izzy had holes in his game, backing up used to get him caught, but now he turns backing up into a counter sequence which shows this dude is something else
@@noelnoni7310 also the size of the octagon versus this kickboxing ring is much different. It's a lot harder to catch adesanya in the first place in the octagon cause he has room to use all that footwork and reach
The striking is so much more crisp and skilled in Glory than it is in the UFC. Plus the kickboxers don't miss weight, gas out or get caught with steroids.
People whom sided with Willnis think their gloves can absorb 100% of the impact of a kick to their head, or even punches to the head, or arms taking aborbing blows is a walk in the park
