In the last half of John 21, David Guzik teaches on the public restoration of Peter and concludes the Gospel of John. Here is a link to David Guzik's commentary on John 21: enduringword.c...
I remember the first time I read this and realized the significance of Jesus asking Peter if he loved Him 3 times. I was so touched by that! It’s the closest thing to a do over one can get.
Thank You Pastor David. You helped me go through the book of John. How wonderful to learn that each word in the word of God counts. May our Almighty God be Glorified by your work.
I'm a women's bible teacher in Tulsa. I have been teaching the book of John since September. I have to wrap it up by the 9th of May. I have quoted you so many times the past few months, because I have been listening to a video every week. Thank you for writing the commentary and for making the videos. I have grown in the Lord because of your teaching and the fact that you are following what the Lord is leading you to do. My prayers for you. And I would appreciate the prayers of those who view this post. I am undergoing surgery to replace my left knee on 4/17/24.
What a wonderful message to receive! Thank you for your kind words and your support. May God bless you and keep you and cause His face to shine upon you. Lord we lift up Vicki to You, that you may watch over her and give her peace and strength for this upcoming surgery. Please guide the doctors' and nurses hands with precision and grace, and let the recovery and healing process be miraculous and swift. Bless her and her loved ones, and assure her of Your presence and love. We ask this in Jesus' name, Amen.

Thank you Pastor David. Your videos helped me understand the book of John. Throughout the past couple of months I watched all of them and learned a lot. Thank you and God bless you.
Interesting! In the original Koine Greek of the Gospel of John, it is: "Feed the lambs of me" (Feed my lambs) then: "Shepherd the sheep of me" (Tend my sheep) then: "Feed the sheep of me" (Feed my sheep) You can view the interlinear verses here: biblehub.com/interlinear/john/21-15.htm For all its beauty and majesty, the editors of the King James Bible could only work with the copies of scripture that were available to them at that time, and they sometimes needed to made stylistic choices and "corrections" which they felt best served the text. But since 1611, many more manuscripts (some very much older and more original) have been found, which now inform most Bible editions that are compiled after 1611. -Enduring Word Team
Thank you again for your teaching. Before this, I always thought the "these" was his fishing occupation. Also, now connecting the three times asking if Peter loved Him, contrasting with Peter's denying him three times. I also never before knew of the two different types of love being spoken. God bless your ministry.
Thank you so much for such nourishing spiritual food through your exposition of the Book of John! Really got to digest this crucial book better thanks to God working through you, Pastor David :D
