The Robot Prince is basically the Boba Fett of the Gloryhammer universe: 1. Is really cool 2. Does basically nothing 3. Dies 4. Fan favourite character

He ruled forevermore, which was like five minutes of song until he died. HOWEVER, almost immediately after his death the Starlords did destroy the universe so technically speaking he did live “forevermore”

This has charm to it. I've had the Robot Prince of Auchtertool for less than a week and if anything bad happened to him, I'd summon the Starlords of Eternity and kill this whole planet except me.
I adore this whole thing. I doubly love that Zagothrax-Prime, the ancient Wizard King, doesn't even do anything fancy, he just shanks him like it's a rough street.

@@gloryhammermemer Who cares if it's epic? Gloryhammer can tell a good story without taking themselves too seriously. That means all of us can, too. I think this animation style fits the aesthetic perfectly. It's fun, lighthearted, and reflects old video game sprite animations. I am of the thought that the members of Gloryhammer would LOVE it if they saw it.
I just got back from a Gloryhammer concert, and when they did Keeper of the Celestial Flame they used a gif of the two wizards dancing for the background the whole time xD
I love how hard this song goes. Its absolutely absurd, it sounds like they're singing about the fantasies an actual 6 year old is having with his toys, and yet they breathe such overwhelming epic scale and importance to it. Symphonic Metal is best metal, make no mistake.

I think what I love so much is the tone difference. Besides pallet swap and… double wizard of course, matching the statment tones, the first verse is slower, more measured and noble. The second is frantic, panicked and faster. The robot prince was already fighting as hard as he could besides our wasteland heroes, and our prince angus, but he still stood no chance. Auchtertool… no longer fight… Why?! Why was he taken from us?! Our sweet robot prince, he only wished to protect his people! He feared the wizards power and so nobly rode out alongside the mighty heroes, never to return. He was taken too soon….

This is the best animated Gloryhammer since Keeper of the Celestial Flame of Abernethy. I want more of this. I would love to see the big finale of this album, or even the whole thing, animated just like this.
One of the saddest deaths in Gloryhammer lore. We will always remember you, Robot Prince. Auchtertool lost a great leader that day. (But can't we just rebuild him?)
I love that the cloaked Zargothrax (I want to say the OG) is doing the same dance move that Johnny Bravo does in the opening of his cartoon right after he says "do the Monkey with me."
I still think my favorite bit of this video is at 0:55, where the Zargothrax clone is still dancing, as if he completely missed the fact that the RPoA is still alive. Like him whipping out the Knife Of Evil is just a "Are you goblins fucking kidding me right now"
from the album cover he probably is just slightly larger than zargothrax. (unless he can transform into giant robot that'd be pretty cool) but his dad, the Mecha King might be a giant robot

Pretty sure he's got a dimensional backup ready for the next encounter. A planetary annihilation is just another sunday for a multidimensional robot race and evil knives are a minor annoyance which will get fixed with an update of the Auchtertool firewall and antivirus. All part of the great calculated (re)cycle of this dimension.

im lazy and gotta work on a (unfortunately not gloryhammer) video game unless someone bribes me haha but if im in the mood i may still animate more segments of different songs once in a while
I whish I could do animations like this. I kind of wanna animate the whole new gloryhammer album. Their storytelling and what you can imagine just from their descriptions is subpar
i heard from some fans from the Hootman's stream that they are working on another official animation for one of the songs. thats exciting ~ Keeper of Celestial Flame took about 4.5 months of work so we gotta wait some time mm
