so i just finished the video and have you ever considered getting your brows tattooed?? you can get individual hair strokes that way and its semi permanent! no pressure, just wondering. i just finished a course learning how to create those types of brows and i am IN LOVE

Put the boy brow on first and fill in with the brow flick as necessary. I think that would look really good!

That's how I do it. Bc you get the fluffiness and then ur only filling in the areas that need it. But I have faded microblading and I just follow those little lines so it's a bit easier but even so I feel it's the best way to go, the way you said..

Omg, agreed! The brow tint really helped pull together the look of the pen strokes. They look SO naturally fluffy. They just need some more practice and the addition of using a brow pencil just to lightly full out any "bald" areas of concern (like towards the tail) and use the pen as usual otherwise.

I’m a microblading tech and it definitely looks realistic from afar. It doesn’t look bad up close, but definitely hard to get them even. I’d say give it some more practice and then update us! You’re beautiful as always 🥰

With practice, I have fallen in love with the brow flick! First I use the boy brow to give my brows volume, then I go in with the brow flick to fill in the gaps and create a better shape, and then to make sure my brows stay all day, I go in with Anastasia clear brow gel. The flick and boy brow have replaced my Anastasia brow wiz, and my brows look so much more natural!

Glossier reccomends using a lighter shade in the pen and your regular shade in boy brow. Try doing that! Edit- OMGOMGOGM IVE NEVER GOTTEN THIS MANY LIKES!!!!! Thank u sm!!!!!!

I would use this only at the front and end of the brow and shape the eyebrows with pomade and brush or brow wiz :)

I think you should use it in conjunction with a regular brow pencil. The front is better than the tails, so use the pencil on the tails and the flick on the front

Yes i was just gonna say - use a pencil to define the brow if you want the definition and then go in with this for the natural looking brows. I don't think this is meant to define the shape but rather give you the natural hair flicks where it's needed.

Yess and use it in the opposite direction, downwards so you get the arch, the hairs come together in the tail from upwards and downwards. Hope this makes sense. I love this natural look! Using 2 colors or different type of products can help with spars areas

Kathleen, they’re eyebrows! Mija, I GUARANTEE that NO ONE will notice the tiny areas where you put too much color. Instead of looking at them close up, look at them from 5’ away. No ones eyebrows are symmetrical, because no one’s face is perfectly symmetrical. You’re obsessing a little bit and you wouldn’t want the folks who look up to you think they should obsess about their face too. I think your brows look AWESOME! They look real! Luv ya kiddo🥰

I found this product to be very tricky too! Every 6th stroke is perfect and I'm forever trying to replicate it. One thing that kinda helps (though it wastes product) is to dab the felt tip on my blank palette every several strokes and also shake it periodically. Lately I'm loving my brown brow flick as an eyeliner. Yes, half the diameter of the tip would be great.

I love the Urban Decay Brow Blade! It is dual-ended. Waterproof pencil on one side and the ink stain on the other side! Using a pencil and the ink stain combined is definitely necessary! Especially if you want super full looking brows. But if you’re going for a lighter look, then just using the ink stain is perfect. I also had to practice a little bit to get the hang of it, and now it’s my fav brow product!

I would say just carve the natural arch and outline with the brow wiz, but go light. And then apply this product. Fill in anything that looks patchy with the brow wiz. Should be a great combo.

You should definitely try Soap and glory Archery in dark brown! It has a skinnier felt tip end and the other end is a pencil too, so u can do the shape and then add in the hairs too! And it's more neutral in colour too! I ❤ it

Hi Kathleen! Two things, try using the pencil first to kind of shape then use the brow flick. 2nd- when doing the top of your brow, (ie your right brow) try flicking that area downward in the direction that hair grows on top of the brows.

They look bushy from afar and I LOVE IT. 😂❤️ Definitely more of a natural brow, but I feel like it would take longer to do than just using a pencil or pomade! It’s not like a quick brow gel you’d throw on in a minute, it takes timeeee to get those little strokes.

This has seriously become my fave product for my brows. I do try to make my hairs darker than they are naturally as I dye my hair black and my eyebrows are brown. This help make my hair look naturally black, so that may be why I like it. It does take some attempts to get used to. To help create my brow shape I take a very thin brush and brow powder and very lightly create a line under my brows and then spoolie them to blend the line. I also have a bald spot where you do and I very lightly use powder to help conceal the bald spot and create a "foundation" for the brow flick. I don't fill in the bald spot with powder, I more create a line to connect the empt spot to the rest of my brow so I know what I need to fill. You do need a super light hand for this pen to work. My first couple times were disasters too lol.

I haven't tried the glossier pen, BUT i used the soap and glory one for a while and i found that i got the best results from brushing my brow hairs down, and filling in downward strokes, then brushing them back up and filling in upward strokes -- hope this helps xx

At the top of the arch you can also draw downwards to follow the direction of your natural hairs. That’s helped me with shaping the arch! Also, Ardell sells a cheap version of this for $7 on ulta, which is more forgiving because it’s less pigmented!

I also struggled a lot with this product because like you said it’s hard to shape the brows so what I’ve started doing which has helped tremendously is first I go in with a brow pomade and very lightly line my brows and draw in the shape to act as a guide. Then while using the brow flick, I also go in with a spoolie to help to even out any dark spots. This also helps soften the outline from the pomade. Now that I have a routine down, I have really come to love this product

Recommend you to just shape your eyebrows with powder very lightly and on top of it use this also very lightly!

I really love this product and have been usin it for a while! I have NONEXISTENT brows naturally and it the product really helps my fake brows look real! But what I do is fill my brows in with my pomade and then use this product to do my inner brow hairs, kinda drawing them in toward the center of my face. helps a lot!

To be honest, I was skeptical about this product and I see you were and are too. But you made me love this product. You worry that this product doesn't let you make them look perfect, but I think perfect is impossible if you're trying to mimick a natural look anyway. Your brows look amazing! Catrice has the same type of brow product and I loveeee itttt. Go get it girls it's the best. It's not harsh like Glossier and it looks like you have real hair

Girl I Loooovvveeee Glossier’s brow flick but you gotta use their Boy Brow after so it fills in any other spots. My fave combo!

I've had almost since the release of this product and if you're not use to it, it will be very hard to perfect. But after a while you really get used to it and your eyebrows look so awesome. I also find that you can kind of shape the brow like if you were using a brow pencil, pomade because I do that a bit for the ends of my brows.

I use the UD double sided pencil/ink stain, but my trick is to apply a colored brow gel (NYX) first! I brush my brows with a spoolie, apply the gel and then add the brush strokes in the sparse spots! My brows are my most complimented feature haha

I’ve been using brow markers for yearssss and it honestly just takes practice!! Eventually you get the hang of it, and it becomes easier to build an even shape while still looking natural ✨
