Definitely Spark, it looks very flattering! I've been loving Storm for over a year now (and as you said it lasts for ever!), and can't wait to try new shades! :)) I personally love blending CloudPaint with my fingers but it's lovely to see how well it blends with the brush!

@@MH_297 it’s a pretty color but I found the best way to apply is with the bottom of a damp beauty sponge. And I really had to dab to get it to blend well. I used it 2x’s and haven’t picked it up since because I felt like it was too much work for the result. I think using a stippling brush to lightly place the color and then dabbing the color with a sponge after would work best. But again it’s a lot of work.

It took me a while to figure out the right application method, which actually ended up just being dabbing a good amount with my fingers along my upper cheekbone and slowly working my way down to a bit before the apple. I frikken LOVEEEE this stuff now. I'm obsessed.

Honestly I’m glad they came out with new shades since I had noticed there weren’t many available shades for darker skin tones without really packing on the product.

Yeah I totally agree! Puff, dusk and beam didn't really feel like they would have much impact. I think storm, eve, and spark will work better

Thats what I thought at first, but dusk and beam actually work well and look really natural on my skin tone. Storm and dawn are great for a bolder look but I have to be careful to not overdo it

Thank goodness...someone who knows how to apply blush and how it's supposed to look. NO CLOWNS!!! Others have smeared this all over the side of their face. Thank you for helpful review!!!!!

I've been eyeing Spark because I love Storm and use it every day! It would be nice to have a more classic, bright red in the mix.

I have natural rosy cheeks and so I'm not a blush wearer in general but the newest berry shade Eve is so pretty

Totally get that! I have more of a flush during the summer so in the winter months is when I start to have some fun

I like using tiny amounts of cloud paint to add warmth or dimension to my face without really adding much color. I appreciate that they dry down matte. The Pixi cheek gels are a really good product too with a complete dry down and no one ever mentions those.

Nice that makes sense! I tried the Pixi gels a while back but I generally prefer creamy products because my skin is more dry but they’re definitely similar

I love cloud paint! I have all the shades except for these two! Thank you for reviewing them. My trick is to mix it first on the back of my hand, warm up the product, apply it with my fingers tips & then blend!

I have been using cloud paints for a few years and they are my go too. I’m 52 and prefer the glow of creme blushes. I keep my finger pressed to the tube and squeeze the tiniest dot onto my finger. I like dusk as my bronzer so I’ll put the dots near my temples and on my nose and blend all over with a brush. When I use the other colors ( beam and puff are my favorites) for blush on my cheeks, again the teeniest tiniest dot on my apples and then blend with fingers.

Thank you soooo much for reviewing these! I have been eagerly waiting for these to get reviewed so I can decide if I will get them during the black friday sale or not. I did not particularly love the formula when I first got it (I was gifted beam but gave it away) but upon receiving samples of cloud paint with my orders, I have found a new appreciation for it! It is one of the more natural looking blushes on the market, and I have been leaning towards that look lately. I think I like Spark! However I saw that you also have dusk and storm. Initially I was thinking of puff and storm but I prefer storm over puff. Would you also recommend dusk?

I totally hear that! I definitely do like dusk. That’s the only one I could really apply with my fingers. I sometimes used it as contour and sometimes as blush. I think it shows up most on light-medium skin tones

@@AustenTosone I am light with neutral undertones! I have heard some light skinned people say that dusk ends up looking too orange so I am worried about that. I would like to be a nice nude blush on me

I'm not into cloud paint at all. I've only tried a sample. Lipstick or stain, on your cheeks is soooo much cheaper.

Haha I totally relate! The plus of cloud paint is it lasts forever and ever. The tiniest amount goes a long way and you'll never run out. It has a stain-like quality to it which helps with long wear.

Storm is definitely cooler. Storm kind of has a muted leaning more to the mauve/brown side. Eve definitely has a richer tone to it with a bit more red in the formula. Think like an actual plum fruit. I hope that helps

@@mistrzu2001 brown doesn’t automatically mean warmth. On the color wheel violet which is the base of both storm and eve has both red and blue in it. Red being the warmer shade. Blue being the cooler the shade. Eve leans more towards the red side while storm leans more towards blue. The brown I’m referring to is created because of certain muddiness of the color making it appear more muted. But you can have both warm and cool browns as well. Storm is definitely not warm on any of those fronts.
