i have beam and puff, but spark is EXACTLY what i want. i wanna literally look like pikachu LOL. so my first mission for 2021 is panning those before i add more to my collection... and i think if you used a more full coverage foundation you'd actually get a lot of use out of eve if you draped it with another shade higher up, it looked lovely with your undertone~
I’ve never draped with a purple! And I love beam, don’t have puff. I can’t even dream that I will ever reach the level of charm as pikachu haha but I CAN wear red blush which is pretty much same same
@@drsallymanderchoi please try beam from temple to cheekbone and apples, then the tiniest bit of eve to contour! I think you'd be surprised cuz I recently did that with beam and mood exposure from hourglass and was shooketh
Thank you for saving me a purchase! I was VERY tempted by these shades but after seeing them demonstrated, I can safely say these would just not be my shades. I’m excited that they definitely seem like great fits for deeper skin tones, however!
I have to give credit to Glossier for bringing out shades that are really good for deeper skin tones. I am probably going to order a few things from their sale. I am looking at getting Haze and Storm and the future dew serum oil. I have a ton in my Glossier cart right now!
I think Eve has surprisingly pretty berry-pink undertones once you blend it out! It definitely isn't the *best* color on you but I don't think it was bad!
Same here. Purple makeup doesn't suit my colour. But I still live purple eyeshadow. Hehe.. I think the texture is thick and opaque. Maybe a sponge blender will be helpful and dilute the colour. :) Love your energy!
I agree, I was quite literally slapping it on for the lowest effort. I need to try eve again with purple eyeshadow because that does have a certain sultry allure
Sally, This is Norma!! So glad I found your channel. I think the purple blush looked better on you as you sheered it out more. And maybe if your eye shadow color more berry, you may like the purple blush on you more. I totally lost it when you said you look like you have rosacea with the poppy shade. LOL!
Hi, Norma! I am definitely playing with more purple and blue eyeshadow in the winter to go better with purple tones! Some rosaceaaaaa, maybe a malar raaaash haha!
Oh man this video made me crack up but also not want to try any cloud paint blushes ever 😅 I know a lot of the shades are more natural but this just seems like so much work!!
Not the point but you are so pretty!!! Thank you for doing these I just ordered Eve and wanted thoughts on it. Also, I never think stuff looks good on me if its outside my comfort zone or usual vibe, but this honestly looks very natural and lovely.
“That vibe is Ursula”.... so the vibe is a hot sea witch topping all the bottoms????? WANT For real though, I do think eve looked better on you than you thought. I had the same first thoughts with a purple blush I currently have. Now I feel those fairy tale vibes with it that Michelle Pham mentioned with little lilac
@@drsallymanderchoi hells to the yes! It might also be a good option for blush draping. Placing it on your temples rather than your cheeks. Its always scary until it’s on and then it looks so pretty
I feel like you would like it better if you just put it on the back of your hand and then put a little bit less on your cheeks. Maybe skin prep to help blend it out to really sheer it out and use it higher and not all over.
I think with a smokey eye that purple would look stunning on you. The rest of your makeup just doesn't quite suit it. Or maybe a deep lip. I think you can make it work!
