I’m glad to know you are a light neutral skin tone. I am too. I always thought I had a warm undertone because I have a full face of freckles, and always coloured my hair ginger/red/auburn. But now that I’ve gone natural (and actually have MUCH less grey/silver than I had anticipated!), I realize I’m actually neutral, maybe even leaning onto the cool side. Crazy!!
YES me too! I always dyed my hair a warmer color than was natural for me, and it threw everything off. That and the fact that neutral foundation was hard to find, so I was always disappointed overall. Everything is starting to click now. 💖 so crazy!
I haven’t tried a thing from Glossier and I kind of slipped from high end, luxury brands into more treatment options and independent makeup brands. Glossier always struck me as a refined drugstore brand. You’ve made me rethink my impressions of the brand. That’s such a kind thing to say. I think the closest brand comparison is to Clinique, just with a more streamlined product offering and an updated brand. The effect you get and the lighthearted feel of the brand seems similar to me. I think you’re right about the “elevated drugstore”, but they really do have some iconic products.
Hi Beth! I’ve never tried this brand before. I LOVED the eyeshadow and eyeliner pencil. Thought your makeup looked so beautiful! Wow the brown mascara is amazing, beautiful colour and easy to apply, looks really natural and the pink blush was so pretty and blends well over my skin care. Thank you 🙏🏼👩🏻🦳🤗
That’s interesting. I can see why Glossier’s brand reads as a clean beauty brand, like Milk. It’s not a clean beauty brand, but it is usually vegan. I’ve never had a problem with expiring products. eventually the lipsticks go, but I’d say at the average rate.
