Rewatching this after two attempts I think I just need to level up my units a bit more. Sitting around lvl 80, and once he hits the double attack turns I can’t survive well, even debuffed.

Your videos saving our bums as unusual. Bless. 😂 Glad that I started preparing Wingate and Heinz right after beating Tikilen (they are both Awaken 3 at level 71). I did pull a random Primrose but she is 4.5 and extremely squishy. I will try to bring her but I already know she will die from the slightest scratch in the Arena.
This is awesome content. Thanks a bunch, shizu. I don't have Primrose but I have just about everyone else: Tressa, Hasumi (her SP Regen is amazing for long fights like this), Odette, Theo, Viola, Lynette, and I'll probably bring Heinz and Wingate, or Fiore if I could somehow overcome her SP deficiency. Odette is a monster so I'm inclined to lean in that direction rather than sword damage. I guess the finer choices will have to come down to how the fight works. Light Magic was preferable to bow in Tikilen because of the random counters, for example.
Thanks for your team-setup. Was able to beat him on first try with the team: [Front Row] Tressa (100) - A4 Primrose (78) - A0 Fiore (100) - A1 Theo (97) - A3 [Back Row] Wingate (61) - A3 Merrit (80) - A3 Millard (59) - A0 Viola (61) - A3 Main MVP being Primrose, Tressa, Fiore and Viola Tressa dealing insane DMG with her Wind and Priority-Spear. Primrose buffing, debuffing, breaking shields and dealing huge Damage. Viola on constant Attack Debuff. Theo having the Regen saved me any use i would have had with Millard (only used him sometimes when i needed sp regen on Fiore, so i casted the Defense Spell on Frontrow. Maybe my Level and Awakening made this fight much easier? Maybe my Equipment. Or maybe Glossom is not as strong as maybe Tikilen oder even Varkyn? (Have not yet defeated Tikilen, and had so much trouble in defeating Varkyn at his last phase).
Done with Glossom too.. He was easier compared to Tickilen.. Only needed to try 3 times to beat him Your sample team comp again rocks... I made my team by taking reference from your sample comp and that made things easier. The adds don't having physics counter does make this fight very easier compared to Tickilen. And i only tried Glossom after obtaining the tickilen accessory and will move to varkan after Glossom accessory . Once again a big thank you for this guide
Thanks again for another video! Sadly I don't have Theo. Would Cedric or Menno be a better replacement, paired with Millard for healing? I was leaning towards Cedric for the better heals, but maybe Menno's wind damage makes him more desired?
Dat moment you stare at a 4.5* Primrose and Lynette in your roster... ( I haven't even bothered clearing other hunts because I'm always doing the Fan ones...) Some day I will get the sacred seals. Someday...
Before you started playing, did you know you were going to make all of these videos? It seems like you noted when you did different things and which teams you used. I’m just a little curious about the process if you don’t mind sharing a little bit about how you come up with all of these amazing videos.
With regards to knowing the team I used to beat the Arenas the first time, I had posted them on my twitter account just as a momento more than anything (although posting my team compositions in the tweet as well in case anyone wanted to see them and/or draw inspiration from them, as they were all far from optimal).

He's the only main 5 star I don't have, and I'm afraid my Meeno's too squish for Glossom's physical attacks...c
You could try Cedric, or we're probably getting a 5 star banner soon with a character that has frontrow heal+regen. Not sure I'd recommend spending Rubies on that one, but it exists.

I am thinking of using gilderoy/merrit ; ramona/viola; menno/ fiore; heinz/tikilen. sadly I don't have theo or primrose. this is gonna be a long fight. my record of tikilen is 80ish turn. it's a frustrating fight, but I can make it down to about 50ish turn right now. so yeah, I think it will be fun fighting glossom :D EDIT: just need this one extra push, but glossom killed me already. I think I will lose some sleep tackling this cup. it's so fun EDIT 2 : DONE. I have to use silver guide stone to awaken 3 my heinz, wingate, merrit and menno though. I did 3 healer (ramona, menno and stead), with the comp to be: viola/ramona, gilderoy/merrit, heinz/menno, stead and wingate. kill each add one by one. about 1 hour long of fight, now this is not a fight I want to do each day LOL. satisfied.
Apart from Primrose there's no "huge damage dealer", instead the work will have to be split between your other, medium-damage dealers. Characters like Heinz and Theo with strong AoEs that hit all of the enemies' weaknesses will do well.
I have heard mixed things. If I awaken a character at a lower level before their awakening stone would be fully utilized, do I lose out on the extra stats? Or when I ultimately achieve that higher level, do I still get the increase in stats? I saw somebody fully awaken a level one character , and she claimed she was not missing out on anything. Thanks!
You do not lose out on the extra stats :) The Awakening bonus will adjust based on your characters' base stats, so feel free to Awakening as soon as you want.
Hey shizu! Just curious if i should drop heinz or wingate. They are both only A1. 65 and 67. I also have Tiki of course, wonder if i should replace 1 with her. I also have primrose lvl. 88. I pretty much copied your recommended team. And i also have gilderoy lvl 90 (not sure if I should use him, but have Tressa too)
Is Barrad worth bringing for 3 hit spear / decent damage against glossom himself, or is being poor against both the ads and the gimmick phase enough to make pure spear attackers not worth the slot? No prim/tressa, so I have viola, theo, fiore, gilderoy, heinz and wingate locked in as 6, but am tossing up on the last two slots
I would recommend an Apothecary or Devin over Barrad. Being relevant at all points of the fight is pretty relevant imo especially if the fight ends up going long.
@@ShizukatzCotC Makes sense, I imagine Tikilen has a bit of the same problem with being strong against the minions but then not doing much once they're down, though can probably have higher output off-element due to 5* stats. Theo's regen alone was enough for Tikilen for me but I might have to bring Ramona since she's my only good burst healer, and then possibly Lynette just for buffs or something like Shelby for the 3 hit axe. Imagine Devin's kinda pointless with Gilderoy already there.
@@DreamblitzX On the contrary, I'd argue Devin is perfectly fine alongside Gilderoy. Gilderoy can serve a more dedicated tanking role while Devin can use Wind AoE to attack.
@@braconius Ah, ok. Bestower chapters take place after the Master of All arc. Once you clear Ch8 you can proceed into those stories and unlock the Arena.
Very much so! The Japanese account that I use for all my video footage (since I don't play on EN) is a F2P account :) Some other commentors have been suggesting I do a tour of my account to show what F2P players are capable of, so I might do that soon!
@@ShizukatzCotC That would be great and interesting. Someone in the comments mentioned it takes 3-4 months to get pity on 1 character, so that was a bit off putting but I realize this is a single player game.
@@ShizukatzCotC I wanted to ask you something, people keep saying you get 300 gems at the start to do multi pulls but I beat the part with the blind girl and I haven't received anything. When should I do my re-roll? I'm on iOS currently so it will be painful probably (I got Scarecrow and Lighting girl at 5*).
The started 300ish rubies were only available for the first month of the game being launched, since it mostly consisted of Launch rewards. I think with 2 5*s, you should be fine to proceed further without rerolling. I would consider dropping a 10-roll or two on the Odette banner as it's really great value for new players since it only gives 4* and higher characters, giving you a great foundation to start with.
