Gloucestershire Warwickshire Steam Railway '40th Anniversary Gala' 07/11/21

Hello and welcome to the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Steam Railway for their 40th anniversary gala celebrating 40 years of the line operating as a heritage railway.
This was my first time here and I loved every second of it, before I started filming I went for a journey up and down the line to get a feel for it all, every station has something good to offer and I can't wait to come back here next year for more gala events.
There were plenty of rolling stock on offer for this gala including: BR Blue 37215, BR Blue 45149, Freightliner 47376, GWR 4270, BR Merchant Navy Class 35006 P&O (Peninsula and Oriental Steam Navigation Company), GWR 7903 Foremarke Hall, BR 7820 Dinmore Manor and a BR Green class 117.
I hope you all enjoy watching this as I had a great time getting it all put together.

Great heritage railway I like the class 47 and the steam engines

Picture this: standing on the platform at Gatwick airport in the evening. A class 47/4 glides in with the southbound Sussex Scot. After a pause to let passengers off the signal changes to green and the driver gets the right o' way. He cracks open the power handle, the sulzer engine barks and flames emanate from the roof grill. Lift off. Wonderous.

The poor old Q1. The first time I saw one, I thought it had a telescopic boiler that could be folded down to take up less space in the shed! - Heritage lines have a look at the Ribble Steam Railway, near Preston. There won't be much happening now, apart from the Santa trains, until the next season. They are only a little weekend line, sharing the track with oil trains in the week, but they really could use some publicity!

For me both the Q1 and the English Bull Terrier conjure up the same feelings. Both are seemingly ugly, but that, paradoxically, makes them all the more attractive.
