I am so pleased to see this precious elephant at ENP. I know he has a long way to go to get his health back, but at least he now has a future. I wonder where his mother is? Elephants grow up at about the same rate humans do, so at 10 years old he is still a child. This breaks my heart.

Ten years old?! He's just adolescent, barely, and in such poor condition. His hams do look kind of skinny. Does he have swollen glands behind his ears, or some kind of tumor? He's young to be in musth, isn't he? I hope you can heal him so he can enjoy being an elephant and have a decent life. Thank You for all you do. Hehe! Poor Elephant 🐘 had to stand on concrete most of his life. Who does that to an Elephant 🐘 and why? That is just wrong and of course, his legs hurt because of this. Thanks for saving his life and giving him a better environment where he can feel the natural earth under his feet!

For a moment I didn’t think that the man was ever going to stop listing this poor little guys maladies. What he really needs is love, and the healing will come. I cannot believe how insensitive some of these people are to the elephants. They need our help.

I do so love elephants, and am saddened to see the way they are treated, in the wild as well as in captivity. Thank you so much for rescuing this sweet fellow. I met this baby elephant at Samutprakan Crocodile farm Thailand last month in July and m very happy that he has got a wonderful place now. Prayers are answered Alhamdulillah

This is my dream. If i become rich and famous i ll open my own elephant sanctuary. Here in india alot of elephant and people get killed because of conflict. The tennessee elephant sanctuary is really beautiful and set a role model for me. I want to open a sanctuary like that. Thanks for sharing and saving this little poor baby. I’ve been to Thailand before and I always see elephants on souvenirs and all that as a sign of their country. But in reality elephants are treated like crap. Like their so smart and idky ppl treat them so bad for entertainment. What a shame for them. Those people are literally making themselves embarrassing. Thank you elephant nature park for rescuing him! 😊

What would be amazing is to see a before-and-after ... maybe follow up with some of the elephants after they've had time to heal physically and emotionally and see how far they've come.

Kind of looks like he’s smiling there at the end as he covers himself in dirt. So sad to see a young elephant limping as he walks around. He looks like he’s in constant pain or discomfort. Please provide updates on his condition!

It's all so very wrong and cruel what he's been through. Bad humans stealing him from his mother and mistreating him and nearly crippling him...he's only ten. He needs a mother figure and family so badly. Thank you for rescuing Gluay Hom, he's safe now, hopefully he'll recover mentally and physically. This is heartbreaking, but hopeful at the same time. Hopeful that time in his new home will slowly fade the memory of what he left. Elephants in captivity like he was is so, so wrong. Their capacity for love and attachment to their family is taken away from them. Your organization does such great work! Thank you for what you do!
