I am astounded that such adult content could be posted. If you can call us adults.

Mr Finegold as always luring me with his sexy clickbait. And then he never takes his shirt off, just plays impeccable chess.

Ha! It was indeed Ben's sexy bedroom pose that lured me into clicking the video. Although his chess was pretty fit too 😂

Double "sac the exchange" into a rook fork? Why can't my mouse slips be so beautiful. Truth hurts.

Learn something: SINCE rating brackets are in increments of 400 performance rating points, if Levy were to keep scoring 9/10 in tnmts like he just played, ie., with the avg ELO of 2230, then a perfect score of 10/10 would give him a performance rating for that tnmnt of ELO 2630. Even getting just 9/10 would give him (9/10) x 400 or 360 performance rating points or 2590. IF he were to keep doing this, he would get his ELO over 2500 easily without ever having to play in GM dominated tnmts. This if he makes the norms, he would have the rating to qualify as GM as well

That's not how it works though.

That's exactly how you determine performance rating. Avg rating of your opponents + % of your score x 400 DON'T be confused. This is just your perf rating for that particular tnmt. It will not raise nor lower your actual rating by more than maybe 20-50 points depending on how many rated games you have played in since your first rated game. The point was, is that Levy could theoretically reach minimum 2500 ELO for GM and never have to play in a GM dominated tnmnt. I would do exactly that if I were him. IF you played 100 games with your opponents rated 2100 and scored 100% your perf rating would be 2500 and your actual rating would also be 2500.
