@@michaelmassaro4375 Yeah, I know it doesn't sound like real jazz, but I wanted to be polite to Levy. It's like Kenny G jazz (not even, to be fair to Kenny).
@@EnverHalilHoxha1917 idk why people have such a hard time understanding the elo system smh levy himself said its going to be a long road but youtube comments seem to know the future better
@@JustAPokemonCommentingOnVideosIt’s a simple mistake no need to be rude , he may not understand the elo system , so what ? Just politely correct him .
@@JustAPokemonCommentingOnVideos No worries brother it takes a great man to admit his mistakes , but nevertheless the original commenter didn’t deserve to be an outlet for your frustration.
@@albemezzanotte6635 Until he doesn't speak across the glaswegian spectrum(from standard scottish english to scots) he's not getting let in to glasgow again
Two weekends ago I lost 200 in two nights going from 650 to 450.. everything went wrong and I played on tilt. However I am a scrub and not a grandmaster lol
Learn from your mistakes try to look for tactics if your opponent knows tactics and you don’t they will have a big advantage just be aware you can do better
Formerly 3100 dropping to 250 points in two weeks is called sandbagging. I assume it would allow him to get paired up with easier opponents in Titled Tuesday.
@@falcon_224 exactly. TT uses Swiss System which works like that and I assume that in the first round the opponent is chosen randomly and not by points
Its called losers queue into rage queue where you grind 12 hours tilted out of your mind mad from that one unlucky loss and then you'll wake up realizing you're down 300 rating
That's such a good move. He was like a fish hitting a well played lure. Have you ever played the Siciian invitation against 1B2, I think that's what it's called.
i remember a long time ago, maybe during the pandemic, seeing hikaru say it would take a decade or something for levy to be anywhere near GM status, but in these last few weeks, I think he might be a lot closer than we think
every gm gets a special skill they can use 5 times per game, every gm's special skill is different. he can void a piece when he wants to AND move at the same time. sounds op, but just wait until you hear about the infamous instant win skill some other gms have
Alright your slowly learning bird of paradise for you did go into one square knight but in reverse but i like for these kind of situations and i liked the pass of the pawn thats my squeeze 😮
Anyone know what the jazzy song playing was? I'm unsure if the song playing changed at some point but especially around 9:00, I really liked the song...
well, as a 1300 player, i've beaten a couple 2k players, and even an NM titled player. most of them were luck perhaps, i don't usually have performances beyond 1750
No Levy, think u should be more arrogant like Magnus, at this point I don’t know which come first, is Magnus arrogant because he is good, or arrogant make him good. And u can change that arrogant word to confident
I dunno what his reasoning was, but he was right to ignore it. Stockfish evaluates the position as dead even, but if you take that pawn, it evaluates it as +1 for white, even though black has 1 extra pawn. White gets multiple free tempos attacking the queen, and depending on the order of moves, white has some tactical tricks to win material.
I think that in order to become a gm you have to uninstall the chrome extension that hide who you are playing width. Because in the real tournament you will know who is your apponent. And not to get chocked againt better apponent it’s part of the game best regards love your video
Levy,I passed your videos up for years ,due to my belief you were not serious. I was wrong. I see the point of entertainment AND instruction, now. MAD RESPECT for you ,now, and I watch your videos and get great enjoyment and excellent analysis of the games by you. And congrats . You are rising, sir.
3:35 !!!!! Knight G4! If F3 Pawn takes ur knight! Then you have Queen E4 check! If he doesn’t you still have Your knight on C4 to go E3 fork!! Or he takes your pawn! You go Queen E4 king goes G1 !! Then your C4 Knight! Forks Queen & Rock! By going to E3 !!! Thats what i saw! What do you guys think??? Both ways he was screwed
Ggs, what a great performance from artin ashraf amazing Iranian player very well done and also I'm from Iran 🇮🇷 I love levy too❤ great content keep it up !
He definitely CAN take the pawn on b2 there, it's not defended. That's why Levy points to it and says "free". It's probably a bad move to take the pawn though. It opens up that file for white's rook to attack, and it puts the black queen in awkward spot. She can't attack or defend anything from that square, and the white pieces can easily attack her to gain tempos.
I'll assume you mean at 4:01 because in the other positions e3 is covered by the bishop. I see Ne3 Nd5 Nd1 cRd1 d5, both players losing a queen and a knight. I guess he just didn't like it, idk more than that. It's also blitz, so maybe he just didn't want to take unnecessary risks. Idk
