Here I show you how to make your own voltage converter to speed up old window motors on isolated window circuits. This should work on most GM cars that use a auto reset breaker fuse.

I made a couple of those out of a two flat spade connector from the miscellaneous section of the auto parts store.

Great project idea! I appreciate the sharing of both technology and sources! One thing I don't see is the fuse-plug end...it plugs into the fuse-block.

Yes, it plugs into the fuse block, I realized I did not go over it, but I will on the comparison video.

Nice car! Thank you for making this video and explaining everything. How is this working for your motors? Have you had any problems with motors failing? I want to do this but I don't want the higher voltage to burn up the motor.

Damian has ran his window racer on since I made this video and has had no issues. But I had the same concerns since my motors were all brand new. Gotta keep in mind that the window motor replacements are also hit or miss.

Where are these available for sale today? If they're no longer for sale, can you recommend somewhere that's still selling them?

The one I purchased is no longer available but look up "Step Up or Down Adjustable Voltage Module" and look for an adjustable 12V to 24V one. I don't want to recommend a particular one because I have not used any of them other than the one you see in the video.
