This video outlines the step required to replace the brake master cylinder on GM full size SUV's and trucks years 99-07. This truck developed a leaking master cylinder that we discovered after replacing a rear brake line.
If you have issues with brake fluid leaking from underneath the drivers side front tire, you may have an issue with the brake master cylinder leaking oil down the vehicles firewall and onto the ground.
The process for replacing the master cylinder on gm trucks and SUV's is the same, but the master cylinders are slightly different. The truck shown in this video is a 2003 Chevy Silverado 1500. Reference the parts listed below to double check that you have the right master cylinder for your vehicle
