This video will show you how to replace the washer fluid reservoir on the 1999-2007 various GM trucks and SUV models including the GMC Sierra, Yukon, Chevy Silverado, Suburban, Tahoe, Avalanche, and Cadillac Escalade. Reservoir was purchased from Amazon and listed below is the link. I will also provide links for the pump motor and the line going from the motor because I ended up replacing those as well.

I like the pacing of your videos. Easy to follow and also listen to without having to watch the video so you can work on the car as you talk.

Good Stuff Blue Collar Dude! I have a 1999 GMC Yukon washer fluid pump that wasn't working. I call the 2 Nozzle's my "Little Boyz". I was like "Awe Shit!, my Little Boyz aren't working!" Anyways, while watching your video when you disconnected the hoses, it got me to thinking..... I went back out to the truck and inspected my hoses. Well, it appears a rat ate about a foot off of each freikn' hose! LOL Quick Fix!! Note: I also hung a small bag with 2ea Moth Balls inside that area. That should really piss them off!!! Thanks again!! 👍

What a great how to. I was able to easily follow and successfully complete my own replacement. Turns out the pump itself was leaking and the reservoir was intact. Pretty much all the same steps apply. But, since I had a new reservoir I decided to replace it anyway. The tricky part came with the low-level sensor. Setting it in place with the flange oriented like the original was extremely tough. Maybe Dorman’s specs or tolerances were off. It’s a little cockeyed but I think it’s watertight and I know the float is actuating.

I thought my reservoir was leaking, but the hose popped off the motor. I pushed it back on, without removing the reservoir, but it popped back off. Any suggestions. Great video. As was said, the pacing was perfect.

I would just double check you lines and make sure they are not clogged with any dirt or debris

@@BLUECOLLARGARAGE I pushed it on again, but this time i made sure it was all the way on. I was in a hurry the first time, and was doing it in the dark. It has held so far.

5:40 It's leaking from here. It feels like a very flimsy connection.

What do you call those little black fasteners on the inside of the wheel well?
@BLUECOLLARGARAGE
@BLUECOLLARGARAGE Год назад
There’s a bunch of different names for them like push pins, fender clips, plastic fasteners. I usually just keep an assortment around like these amzn.to/3ogHA2P

This is by far the best video on how to tackle this job. I don’t think anybody else disconnected the hose from the top of the fender. Everyone else just fought with the connection on the pump. This method was a lot better.
