Why don't we expect population changes to affect percentiles significantly, and how can we track this?
@egmat
@egmat 6 месяцев назад
@nive934 - We do not expect the population composition to change significantly. If it does, then we do expect the percentiles to change. However, the chances of that happening are not very high, given that the GMAT is already extremely popular worldwide.

Given recent percentile shifts, how should test-takers adjust their GMAT prep strategies?

Just map the GCE percentiles to the corresponding GFE ones.. aim for 685 if you were aiming for a par score for Harvard or Kellogg (730 GCE median). On the other hand, those striving for a scholarship should aim for 705+.

I got 695 in GFE or 98.0%ile. should I assume it to be 740/750 and apply in my target universities? I am not keen on taking the test unless my chances are hit significantly.

Are people getting higher Quant scores on the new GMAT?
@egmat
@egmat 6 месяцев назад
slightly higher.. given the fact that DS is not a part of DI. this is balanced out by the fact that students are getting lower scores in DI.

Is 635( 85 percentile) a good score to apply for in the ISB and IIM A,B and C?
@egmat
@egmat 6 месяцев назад
Depends on your profile.. the median score at these schools is about 655. So if your profile is good, a 635 might suffice.
