Perfect video! Just did this on my 2008 GMC Sierra after replacing all four sensors myself. Worked exactly as you showed. I had to let air out for about 10 seconds each tire before it would beep.👍👍👍 This is what instructional videos need to be, quick and to the point!
Buddy you are the man!!! Worked out perfectly. I had new tires and tpms installed at Crappy Tire and I specifically asked them to reset the tpms and when i got it back those useless bafoons didn't even reset them. Your video really helped. I wonder how i can get rid of my airbag sensor light and my check engine light which is not flashing thank god.
I got 2 beeps and the message about tire sensor calibration after pressing the key fob but never could get any beeps while letting air out of the left front tire for 15 seconds and the tire was inflated to 60 lbs. Reinflated to 60 lbs. and deflated for 30 seconds and still no beep. My truck is a 2013 so maybe it has the 2014 setup that won't work without the gadget which is necessary on the 2014 and up models.
I'm not getting any beeps when I let the air out of my tires I did everything and everything went like you said until it came time to let the air out just didn't get any beeps
Vehcile manufactures have different pressures for tires depending on vehicle weight. Running your tire at the max PSI rating on the tire will most likely result in accelerated wear on the inner portion of the tire. The correct inflation of the tire according to the manfacture results in the best tire/road contact and wear for the life of your tire.
Max pressure rating on the tire is specifically for that tire at max load. But if you run that on your truck chances are you will wear out the center of your tire from being 'overinflated' according the the actual weight of your vehicle
you have to get underneath the car and below the drivers side seat theres a little switch. reach your hand in there and feel around for it until you realize you're a dumbass
I can get beeps out of two left tires but not right tires. Still says service tire monitoring system. It started a couple weeks after getting new tires while traveling on way back. Also the service place had almost 60lbs of pressure on tires. I was in the Ozarks driving on rocky very bumpy roads.
What a crock! 😮 I know how to check and maintain my freaking tires. I just want to completely eliminate the stupid thing. Or just make it where it doesn’t override the odometer when it malfunctions please! For crying out loud!! By the way… thanks for the video. 👍
Emergency brake and key fob press isn't required people this guy made up his own dumb process..Your parking lights will light up 1 at a time to tell you which tire to let air out.
I literally just tried it the way you explained, and it went to learn and I let nearly all of the air out of the tire, and the horn never sounded. I tried it 3 times, with no horn sounding.
I just did this on my 2008 Sierra and it worked perfectly. After getting it into learn mode I had to let air out of the tire for just over 10 seconds before it beeped for each tire.
