I have just bought a GM-2100-1A, and I was struggling with how to disassemble the metal case, thank you so much for your demonstration. I finally swap into the AP bezel bracelet. this is really helpful. thanks a lot.
Thanks for the video - Casio seem keen on the **Stealth Look** - by changing the dial parts the watch can express . . . a different personality . . . Posh, Fun, Sporty, Art, Funky or some other theme . . . 🙂
Any tips for cleaning? Btw. If you have a set of cheap of jewelry screwdrivers (soft shiny metal, not the hardened kind) you can file those so they fit uncommon screws. Just take one scoop out of every side of the driver, fit it, repeat.
Sounds like you have a potential business there dude, if the parts are difficult to get why not offer them for sale or take pre-orders, you could find out if it's worth it by running a community survey? Just a thought... Great to see you back with another enjoyable video! 🤜🏼
Hello buddy how you doing i am harish from india i love watching your videos, I have a question if you could help, actually i want to buy rangeman gw-9400 but you said digital solar models gets foggy screen so now i am confused. Does all solar models gets foggy screen, gx56bb , and rangeman gw-9400 both are my favorites.
Still like your channel, would love to see more vids and hope you're doing good. Also would be nice to see a video on your thoughts about the new 5610U models!
Really like your videos, thanks for providing some tips on the disassembly! Did you see the new GAB2100? Excited to see a steel solar Bluetooth version.
Great Video @gshock highfashion. Want to change the strap of a GM-S2100 and you mention a 16 mm strap. But I read elsewhere it is 24 mm. Can you clarify if 16 mm is the right strap?
24mm is the width of the strap perhaps where the buckle goes. The segment/part that connect to the lug of the watch is 16mm. You need a 16mm to install.
I guess so, I managed to damage my gms-2100 resin case easily with a screwdriver, they feel quite soft. Then again, maybe it was made to be 'soft' to aids with shock absorption better than to rely on that metal bezel. The reverse goes to gma-s2100 case & bezel.
excellent video sir! one question. I just rec'd my gshock gm s2100 and it is already on the correct time zone setting (out of the box)... but it is a couple of minutes fast... how do I adjust it? can I manually set the hands?
Hello 👋🏻. I have a concern/question. I own a gwg-1000, and my top two buttons are “sticky”. Do you have any recommendations for how I might remedy this problem? I enjoy your videos and have been following along from time to time. I figured you must be the person to ask. Any advice/help is greatly appreciated. 🙏🏻
You'll need to disassemble the buttons to finds out the cause. My guess from experience working with other older/vintage/abused g-shock: 1. Button spring got rusted, or 2. Button spring got stuck from accumulated tiny dust/debris over time around the o-ring itself. 3. Lack of lubrication from years of abuse, then clean up. 4. Button shaft was bent from over abuse All of those is unlikely due to the special 'mud resistant structure'. Button disassembly is required to fix any of those issue.
It might, but not a concern. I rarely exposed myself to even 10bar wr would be required. Plus I've done this multiple times on plenty of other g shocks and they all survive just fine.
