திருமணம் ஆகாத ஒரு கன்னியின் திருமண ஆசைகளையும் கனவுகளையும் இவ்வளவு அழகாக கண்ணதாசன் ஒருவரால் மட்டுமே எழுத முடியும். ஒரு கவிஞராக இருந்து கொண்டு ஒரு பெண்ணின் மனதில் என்ன இருக்கின்றது என்று தன் கற்பனையை கலந்து இப்பாடலை படைத்துள்ளார். இந்த பாடலை இசையமைத்த மெல்லிசை மன்னரை பற்றி சொல்லவே வேண்டாம். இப்படித்தான் இந்த பாடலுக்கு உயிரூட்ட வேண்டும் என்று எப்படித்தான் இசை அமைக்கிறார் என்றே தெரியவில்லை. இப்பாடலை இசையமைக்க எப்படி எல்லாம் யோசித்து இருப்பார் என்றே தெரியவில்லை. ஒவ்வொரு இசைக்கருவிகளின் ஒலியும் ரம்மியமாக நம் காதுகளில் ரீங்காரம் செய்யும். சுசீலாம்மா அவர்களை பாராட்ட வார்த்தைகளே என்னிடம் இல்லை. தேனினும் இனிய அவர் தன் குரலால் இந்த பாடலில் ஒரு வர்ணஜாலத்தையே நடத்தி உள்ளார். அப்படியே ஆழ்மனத்தில் இருந்து வரும் பூவை விட மெல்லிய குரலில் எல்லோருடைய மனத்தையும் உருகவைக்கும் வகையில் பாடியுள்ளார்கள். அவருடைய குரல் இணிமைக்கு ஈடு இணை ஏது? அவருடைய இசை மகுடத்தில் இந்த பாடல் இன்னொரு வைரம். ஒரு இளம் பெண்ணின் திருமண ஏக்கங்களை இவ்வளவு மென்மையாக வேறு யாராலும் வெளி படுத்த முடியாது. கவிஞர் கண்ணதாசன் மெல்லிசை மன்னர் MSV P.சுசீலா அம்மா ஆகியோரின் ஒப்பிட முடியாத சிறந்த திறமைக்கு தலை வணங்குகிறேன். 07.04.2024
