It is OBSCENE that this isn't on Spotify or some kinda streaming service somewhere. This is my favorite song from my favorite album (did you know? In Rainbows was almost called "Reckoner" but they scrapped the title last-minute)... This cover just blows me away. His voice is so good that it transcends being a voice and becomes more of a divine instrument.

Barkley's cover of this song is a great one. Dude has one powerful voice. Makes this version his own, the way he sings it. Fuck Yorke's subtleties and just blast it out, he seems to be saying. Not saying one or the other is better or worse; just that this works, as well.
@@FleabassgodfulPeace we are both late to this comment, but i think he was just sick of all the "this is fucking awful" comments, radiohead fans usually hate on it.. and i find that really dissapointing from them, expecting to have great taste and then seeing them just hating on it like that, it shows that much of them don't... i am happy that some people like you though, understand both versions equally and i thank you for it (you know i think its a showcase of musical wideness knowledge that separates us with haters), keep it strong... love the name and profile picture

Not sure about this, he undoubtedly has a great voice but I felt this rendition was a bit flat and monotone. There are so many layers to the original that I felt a bit lost here.
this cover doesnt hit some emotional notes that the original does, but it also hits others that thoms doesnt. it's different. and that's what a good cover should be
