Props to the drummer, this is one of the only covers I've come across that offsets the soaring melody with the stumbling time signatures that - for me anyway - make Reckoner an unsettling ride I always come back to.
Imagine having a gift so powerful it can overpower everything and simultaneously possessing the wherewithal to control it seamlessly. He’s absolutely perfect at all times.
This of all performances is one where I feel everyone is where they're meant to be. Not on stage, not in their career, but in a universal sense. Things may not be the way they are supposed to be at times in this world, innocent people suffer, bad people prevail, but I feel that on that stage, every performer is where they would be in a perfect world. And that gives me hope.
What an amazing spin on this song. It's a completely new song. I love Radio Head singing this song but Gnarls Barkley just made me love this song all over again! That's talent right there.
I love this cover so much. Always thought it was better than the original. And I’m a die hard Radiohead fan. Own all their EPs and singles and all their albums on vinyl. This is just so good. It’s what Thom would do if he was a “better singer”.
Yeah CeeLo is a better singer than Thom, and pretty much everyone else, so no shame in that. But.. I tend to think that the best version of most famous RH-songs are covers, even though this one is in a class of its own.

My thoughts exactly. 1. The deepness of Cee Lo's voice contrasts beautifully with the softness of Thom Yorke's voice in the song. It works both ways! 2. I would be dancing and crying and singing! And those people are just staring. IDK, maybe they were Katatonic or they were trascending space time just for being there.
Keep listening to this version ... He and his band did so fkn great on it and did it justice... Radiohead is good but this version sinks in so much more 🤘🏾🙏🏾🖤
