@@davidcampos7756 i can't remember the artist and if im not mistaken, I think its a song called "now that we found love" BUT it is a cover being done by the shows on-set band, so I doubt you'll be able to find that exact version cause they only played that small part for the show.
It's everything he does with this song. His vocals are smoother than the finest whisky. His timing is sublime. The silence after a line is just as stirring as the lyrics. He sings the Hell out of that song.
@@Dude88 Dude. 🤣 That’s CeeLo Green singing there. Gnarls Barkley is the name of the group. He’s multitalented: singer, songwriter, record producer. 🤷🏼♀️
Sometimes even among other masterpieces, one thing has to stand out. Sucks cuz it makes the rest of the album look bad, but we gotta appreciate how perfect this song is either way
CRAZY I remember when I remember, I remember when I lost my mind There was something so pleasant about that place Even your emotions have an echo in so much space And when you're out there without care Yeah, I was out of touch But it wasn't because I didn't know enough I just knew too much Does that make me crazy? Does that make me crazy? Does that make me crazy? Possibly And I hope that you are having the time of your life But think twice, that's my only advice Come on now, who do you, who do you, who do you Who do you think you are Ha ha ha, bless your soul You really think you're in control I think you're crazy I think you're crazy I think you're crazy Just like me My heroes had the heart to lose their lives out on the limb And all I remember is thinking I want to be like them Ever since I was little Ever since I was little it looked like fun And it's no coincidence I've come And I can die when I'm done But maybe I'm crazy Maybe you're crazy Maybe we're crazy Probably
This is not a masterpiece, it’s beyond that .. first time I hear it , I’m stunned: clear voice, great performance and amazing lyrics.. well done CEE LO 👏🏻
This song makes me shed a tear. There’s something about it which may be the buildup of the lyrics up to the climax of the chorus which constantly keeps repeating, and the chord progression is so emotional.
Some chords are interdimensional. Or sacred. Or spiritual. Or mystical. Or resonate/vibrate with the cosmos. I don't know if we have the correct words to describe the effect properly, but like you, we know it when we hear it. We connect with it in a visceral way. The music tears at something deep inside us. Powerful...
This is the best version of the song on the interweb. Sure, Cee Lo is great, but the string quartet makes this song the best. They are the Sonus Quartet from L.A. and the cello is expertly played by Vanessa Freebairn-Smith. Wow
@@mikehoncho9344 I've been recording audio for 40+ years. It is not the worst, technically it is pretty clean for a video the levels are just really low. I'll take it over 70% of the over-modulated audio on youtube. It's also been a well known fact for decades in the industry that video people can't do good audio to save their lives, they only know how to make things look good.
Yet another absolutely beautiful, chilling, captivating, brilliant version of this classic song. What an amazing, great pop song. Still--this is one of the best pop songs from the last twenty years.
Amazing voice, got some al green , great motown voices in him.. what's crazy is the live version is as good as the recorded, you don't see that, great song and addictive voice
1080i HD broadcasts started in 1998 via antenna, and Super Bowl 34 in 2000 (Rams vs Titans) was HD, so getting a nicer one like this in 2011 is no biggie. I watched the 2006 FIFA World Cup in HD - sometimes a mix of PIP audio in english with spanish video. Oh yeah, I saw the Super Bowl on my best friend's Pioneer Elite rear projection, piano gloss black, 60-something inch HDTV with signal via an attic mounted, amplified, 6 foot wide TERK antenna. That was a nice townhouse. They were only there 3 years.
@@andrive ten years is not a long time my friend. I know you might not think it's never going to happen, but one day you're going to look back 40 years and say wow that went by fast
Sang the whole thingg with his right hand in his pocket, only a true rockstar and a guru can sing so casually on a live and reputed show like that. So chill. Wow. To sing under pressure is to not take any of it and still slay it! With that voice and technicality. Sheesh! Look at the nature of the song but He sings it like cakewalk.
In 2006, the soul duo Gnarls Barkley, composed of CeeLo Green and Danger Mouse scored a huge hit with "Crazy." The song peaked at number two and was nominated for Record of the Year.
I think this is the greatest song ever performed on Letterman. Gnarles B and Danger Mouse along with the rest of the band killed. This song is so epic. I love this song...this entire record and this performance ranks right up there with Allman Bros Fillmore for live performances.
