Gnassingbe Eyadema Honours Georges Pompidou with a Special Parade | November 1972

Footage of Togolese President Gnassingbe Eyadema honouring French President Georges Pompidou with a special military parade at the end of Mr. Pompidou's two-day state visit.
The two presidents were joined by their wives at the parade which included members of Togo's Army. Togo's armed forces total only about two thousand men, with the army consisting of a single battalion which is trained and equipped by France.
