I genuinely think it's part of Mdickie's npc AI to randomly start fights or take something out of your hands with the player sometimes. It happens in 2d and 3d hard time and basically every open world Mdickie game.
@@yuanwang9324 It's what happens when you make a free roam mode/game and don't change out the wrestling AI, they just start fighting each other at some point.
from my personal experience of playing this game: it's really easy to avoid fighting people in between matches. Jerma just sits there and fights them for a few minutes if he accidentally gets hit then gets surprised when his face is smashed into the concrete
It really is. On my playthrough I was spamming the vending machine and some dude dropkicked me into it which led to me having to pay money to repair the vending machine and being in the hospital for 3 weeks. Then in the hospital there were legitimately like 20 people in there and every single one of them lived for the sole purpose of jumping me, and gave me 4 more weeks in the hospital from a broken shoulder lmao this game really is rigged
Sometimes Wrestling Empire sets up phenomenal stories. So, the Gnat wins a lucky match to get the belt. He then loses an important match against a rival organization. Now, HIS organization isn't doing too well financially, so his boss asks him if he's ok with taking a cut in pay. He says no, because he's the inter-champ. His boss says "Ok, I guess we'll find some other way to balance the books..." His next match is a match to defend his title against a wrestler who's contract mysteriously is ending at the end of the week, if he and the boss can come to a new arrangement. If Scratch wins, HE'D be the inter-champ, and have a much stronger bargaining position to keep his job, while the Gnat would be in a MUCH poorer position to negotiate his pay, or even his employment.
You have no idea how happy it makes when I see the sped up animation when Jerma's character is beating the absolute crap out of someone with an object, I just think it's neat
I don't know if it's true, but I really like the idea that Jerma just assaulted a man on the subway and tried to kill him with a subway *just because he could* and it wound up with him being the most biased and unprofessional ref ever for a single match.

Jerma made out good on that $208,000 deal. Even if he was paid FIVE-THOUSAND which is highly unlikely in this game for those 41 weeks he still would have made only $205,000 dollars, and that’s not even considering the chance he gets kicked out or signed another deal. Jerma the financial pro.

Gnatsune Miku: A Tale There once was a wrestler named Gnatsune Miku,she was doing sort of OK for her career then everything changed when she injured a man on the subway and then eventually killed that same man on the streets and ruined his funeral on top of it. Then ever since she became psychotic and unleashed her rage(mostly towards men). The other wrestlers didn't like Miku's attitude so they started picking and beating the shit out of her for every chance they got after that murder. Before her next match could start,she got beaten up,succumbed to her injuries and eventually died. The end
My favourite thing about mdickie games is the stories that they create. I love games that don’t really have a written plot and the story is formed by the players choices and ai input. Kinda like shadow of mordors rival system or something similar.
Will watch some time, but I watched this live and rewatched the parts of the stream I missed. You always kill it with these edits and the wrestling empire ones are your best. This game is just a blast. It sucks Jerma thinks he played it too much because I could watch him play this forever
I had a dream last night where Jerma was playing a game sort of similar in gameplay to this, but it was in a high school with anime style characters. He played as Yui from K-on and there was a guy he could control as well. Some girl's death was announced over the speakers in some coliseum looking area, it was oval shaped with seats all around the center ascending upwards as they spread further out. A menu came up with different dialogue choices. The guy said "She was my lover..." Yui had a few dialogue choices and Jerma selected "I hated her" and then she started gangnam style dancing afterwards, to which Jerma laughed. There was a bit where he joked that the guy had a string around his finger that was tied to a phone and that he had to hide it behind snacks in his pocket (it was a specific snack he mentioned, but I don't remember what it was, waffle related I think). He made the guy do something that got the girl killed and it was related to the phone. There was also some girl lying on top of one of the speakers, who might have been the girl who died. That was my esoteric Jerma Dream.

Spoil Er for the epic reveal of all lifetimes - - - federico is a fuckkng superhuman and is already probably one of my favorite mcdickie characters of all time. he may have died in a later battle, but he managed to survive getting run over by a fucking train and was still able to walk and flip a professional wrestler over his shoulder
Played this game for about 1 hour and got bored, but now I'm watching through all Jerma's wrestling empire streams and this is way too entertaining 😅 I guess I'll give it another go
