I'm asexual, and just wanted to add something that sometimes isn't talked about as much-- It's a rather wide spectrum! You can be sex repulsed, fine with it, or anything inbetween, and all are equally valid!! And engaging in things, whether for yourself or partners, doesn't make you any less ace!!

Being asexual is a very flexible and wide thing. Sometimes I think I'm like the least asexual asexual, LOL. But I still firmly believe I'm part of the spectrum. It's okay to question your identity and try to find a spot you fit in, but if the questioning eventually brings you distress, always remember that labels exist to serve people, people don't exist to serve labels. Whatever you are, you will always be yourself at the end of the day.

One of the things I learned about being ace (or any chosen orientation) is that it is not a one size fits all. Not everyone fits the definition and that's ok. If you feel that the identity fits or is the closest to how you feel, use it. There is no wrong choice for identities :]

I’m also Asexual!, the way I think I found out was(even tho I was at the appropriate age to see this stuff) found Sexual Intercourse to be.. uncomfortable to say the least. Still to this day I never wanted to see or engage in it, especially in movies when it’s over done. Everytime it’s brought up I flinch at the thought. That’s why most of the time when even my family watches a movie even leading up to it in a scene I just turn away. I completely understand where your coming from, your not alone, we just want you to know that we understand and will always be here to listen❤

The way I figured out that I was asexual is that I thought of myself in sexual situations and did not like it. Of course, there is a big asexual spectrum, so don't feel pressured to label yourself!

Well, I'm asexual and pansexual and one thing I figured out is if your asexual, you NEVER enagage in any sexual behavior. Just thought I'd share this! :3
