John Pellan races his 2020 Scott eRide Genius 920 (with the Shimano e8000 motor) at round 7 of the 2021 GNCC eMTB Series at Loretta Lynn's Ranch in Hurricane Mills, TN.
The video includes interesting conversations with Pro Motocross Racer Justin Brayton, Team Impakt's Luke Nesler and helmet cam footage from the race.
If you're thinking about racing an electric mountain bike, especially at the GNCC eMTB series, this video provides a lot of helpful information and demonstrates that GNCC ebike racing can be affordable and a ton of fun for everyone.

Thanks much Mike :) Sorry my best race wasn't also yours - heard you crashed. Glad you're ok and hope you look past that and dig eMTB racing enough to do it again. I think it's awesome (as you can tell :) Hey I uploaded my GoPro here if you want to check it out. facebook.com/100000217484236/videos/834559291545378/

I can relate to you and Justin Brayton. I love my 2020 YZ450 and two Grizzlies ('19 and '21) but I also like my Specialized!

You're a very smart buyer, three top shelf bikes no doubt.

Thank you for sharing, I’m looking to do this series next season and I’ve been really curious about it. Shame about your battery, but you finished!

Awesome! That's the reason I made this video, so this is great to hear, come race with us. You'll love everything about it, including the GNCC family.

How long is the track and how many laps do you typically do?
@ATVScene

They're usually 3 to 4 miles long, and we usually get 4 to 5 laps in. It's great, come join us.

@@ATVScene I bet it really helps get you into race shape for a quad! Hate to hear your battery didn’t make it but good that you finished 🏁

The battery doesnt even last for a whole race.... Looks like a pain, not a blast
