GNOMON GLISSADE (DELTARUNE Fan Secret Boss Theme) 

New Solis music video yay!! This time for his first battle theme. Again, these were made out of order. Speaking of, this will most likely be the last Solis video in the series. I dont have the time (lol) to devote to big animations like these for now. Who knows, maybe I'll revisit? Unsure. The Golden Hour battle will also not happen because of my schedule. On the bright side, I will definitely keep making videos OF Solis, just not big ones for the actual series. At this point anyone who even remotely interacts with/deals with/just lives at the wrong space at the wrong time with Gaster just becomes insane and gets a sick theme to go alone with it too. Like... Yeah, the whole insanity thing is a bummer but hey at least you have a cool boss theme now.

Just looked it up glisade is a type of ballet and gnomon is part of a sundile

I realized that are some things that Solis and Jevil share in common, as they were both entertainers. Jevil was the court jester, and Solis was a ballet dancer. Not to mention that Solis somehow looks like an imp.

damn i just found out about this character yesterday but am already loving this fella. Also a very smart name choice! I don't know if it's intentional having it sound like "gnome" (which fits the smol secret boss on first appearance thingy), but for those who don't know, the gnomon is the wooden stick casting a shadow on sundials. Which is definitely fitting for a clock-related shadow crystal boss :D

Can I just say I absolutely love Solis's design, it feels so original! The way you combined a the sundial design for this cosmic area along with a tea party and music box aesthetic is so cool.

I love the animation here it's so pretty. The music is wonderful too and I love the use of the leitmotifs as well as the constant ticking in the background. On another note I noticed at around 1:11 the silhouettes of two mice/rats with crowns on their head while on the other side we see a silhoutte of what seems to be a wasp. These silhouettes are reminiscent of characters we've seen previously in a video. Now this is all just a theory but I believe that originaly the rulers of this dark workd were the two mice/rats and later a wasp ursurped the throne and did something to those rats. What exactly is unclear but considering the twisted rat like beast in the previous video we can assume that they were turned into a sort of rat king. Which seems to also have made them feral and or aggressive. From that point they either disappeared or where thrown out as they no longer where fit to rule upon which the wasp took over. And from the state of the dark eorld the new king seems to be doing a pretty bad job. But that's just my little theory. Sorry for the wall of text just wanted to point that out since no one else seems to be mentioning this. Overall I'm excited for furure content involving Solis as he is a pretty interesting character.

Here before everyone else hehehe. Can't get over how cool this turned Marine! He colouring as always is absolutely phenomenal as are all of the different animations. Especially love the pixel art animations at the start they're so coooool. Of course I already mentioned how I love this song. The artists did such a good job on it. Very melancholic and whimsical, super pretty.

HELP I'M LATE anyways I like how different this is compared to the Golden Hour theme, the start and end even has a wave of sadness (you did break the statue of Ramsy after all). I also love the tweening and art (the silhouettes of Solis and Ramsy at the beginning look so cool like wow), sad that the Golden Hour battle won't happen tho, but still looking forward for smol Solis videos/art.

I love the music and visuals! After watching through all the Solis videos, I think they may be my favorite Deltarune fan secret boss. The backstory and the encounters for them are so well put together and fit Toby's style well

Solis has to be the most flesh out Deltarune fan secret boss to date. Sorry to hear the gold hour fight isn't happening any time soon, best of luck on other projects
