THE GARDEN (DELTARUNE Fan Chapter 5 & Secret Boss Encounter)

Rams horn weeping willow! Can you progress through the maze without speaking to Ramsley or encountering Solis? Yes! There are multiple routes and entrances to the maze that I wasn't able to show. Depending on Ramsley's shop, the theme will change as well... hypothetically. This entire route is NOT MANDATORY btw !! The maze and chase is part of this chapter regardless of the route. Who are the rats? :3 When does this take place? Before Solis' shop! This is his first ever encounter. How exactly do you find Solis? First, you get an Empty Lens from Seam. They craft it using a Shadow Crystal from the previous secret boss. Then you talk to Ramsley who combines it with a Glass Shard, in turn creating the Dark Lens. You then traverse the maze to where the music is loudest and use the Dark Lens to find the secret entrance. Will you make more? One more video for Solis' main battle theme! After that, I think I'll be done creating content for this series.

the theme of a Dark World just in the brink of destruction is amazing, reminds me so much of Super Paper Mario. Also love the little sundial gremlin very much

this was so well made!! the themes seem like they could actually be in the game, the npc dialogue, susie, ralsei, and solis’ unique way of speaking with the 00:00 like a clock is completely in line with toby’s writing style!! also the fact that solis can see the save points, the “star” is really interesting! i just gotta hand it to you with the dialouge though, it was really funny seeing solis tell kris to stand to the right and as kris tries to figure out where to go, ralsei tells kris to use the index and thumb trick LOL

In my opinion, the COOLEST fan secret boss of all time. Amazing work Marine, you outdid yourself!!

The area actually somewhat reminds me of the Distortion World from Pokemon Platinum and that's awesome

At this point I could 100 % believe that all the characters, spritework and cutscenes made by you are actually canon and you have been a Temmie Chang level assistant of Toby Fox for all this time...

OOOooooh, the imagery of the big crystal is SO FUCKIN COOL. Not sure what exactly I was looking at until we went underneath, and I realized its refracting the Dark Fountain like a Prism! And I assume thats how Darkners are turning to stone too, since there's 2 fountains in one world and the wills are clashing? MAN, the hand at the bottom was really cool too! the art and imagery here is beautiful as always!

THE GARDEN SEEMS TO BE A MAGICAL PLACE AND HOME TO SOME VERY VERY INTERESTING CHARACTERS

I don’t know how else to say this, but this is PHENOMENAL!!!!! I LOVE IT… it feels like you really “get” what makes deltarune’s character designs stand out… this is incredible, I can’t wait to see what you do next.

Is the creature that chases Kris, Susie and Ralsei a reoccurring character? If so, does it have a name? I noticed it bears similarities to Rát Kinģs, so I'm guessing that was the inspiration for it.

This is so incredible... I love hearing solis' leitmotif in the garden themes.

that was extremely well-done! i'd say my only gripe is that progression in the maze felt sort of arbitrary; and also required speaking to a shopkeeper which seemed not mandatory to get into the garden in the first place, which potentially could result in a softlock logically. but your writing, visuals, and the way you add lore to advance the spectacle like the splitting Fountain are all outstanding for this type of fan content. looking forward to what comes next!

When Deltarune will finally come out, there will be literally HUNDREDS of AUs with alternative timelines, I'm sure about it! People create SO much fan content that it would be enough for at least 700 chapters

That art of the dark fountain splitting in half was absolutely beautiful, love the tension you created by having the fountain be unstable and darkners turning to stone as it gets closer and closer to the Roaring. Also the echo flowers showing the pertrified darkners' last words was a neat touch.

Really loved the weird twin rat thing. And the art for the onset of the Roaring. And just the general vibe too.

This was so cool lol Solis and Suzie bickering was super funny too

My favourite part of delta rune was at the ending where they got to the fountain and came back home, waking up in the playroom, and then kris said “that was one Hell of a rune.”, and then susie responded “you could say it was a DELTA rune, haha!” and then kris responded with “you’re such a rude buster..” as he looks to the camera and the screen fades to black, with a laugh track playing simultaneously in the background

AHHHHHHHH! THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST CONCEPTS I'VE EVER SEEN! Literally, this is up the with the What If Noelle Lost Her Way animations as some of the best Deltarune animations I've ever seen. I love the creepy beast chase (since the chase theme is my favorite, x3) and I was screaming ARGH!!! LET ME RUN ALL OVER THE MAZE!!! as soon as the Fun Gang entered. Nooooo... I want to explore.... I liked all the darkners turning to stone, the the Original's statue made me sad. :( This Petrification is Pissing him off... I liked the fountain couple too, I wonder if you went back to their room later you would find them turned to stone? Other than that, the dialogue was REALLY good. Solis was amazingly deranged, Susie was awesome and Ralsei was great. I especially loved the passage where Solis was trying to get them to stand in battle formation, and the tangent about cell division mirroring fountains. Overall this animation was super cool, and although the text was a bit fast sometimes I still enjoyed it a ton!

WE FINALLY GET A TIMELINE PLACEMENT FOR SOLIS YESSSSS I would've made him Chapter 4 since Purple comes after Green in the Omega Flowey boss fight but beggars can't be choosers

This is INCREDIBLE!! It feels JUST LIKE an actual chapter's gameplay! The music, art, and character writing is on-point! Dont even get me started on that descent that reveals the huge hand, that visual just blew me away. What programs did you use to make this? I've seen videos like this for months but have always wanted to make one myself!

HOW DID I MISS THIS! This is insane!!!! Such impressive spritework I love how haunting the maze segment is. The crumbling statues and the last whispers of the darkners turned to stone. How the deeper you go into the maze the more decrepit it becomes until Solis is just floating on rubble. It still maintains Deltarunes comedy style: but it’s still super haunting!

The character movements could be improved on to be more accurate. Don't like that they randomly speed up and slow down when they don't do that in the game and it looks really weird. When the gang was getting on and off the platform, it especially looked jarring there.

This one video had me miles more interested then the actual Chapter 2. 👏👏Well done!!
