Yo I dunno what you mean, I screenshotted an NFT of some weird blue thing and a swarm of giant flies came up to me and I'm now friends with a bunch of giant blue flies for some reason
Jokes aside, I gotta say, these look kinda goated. Free flat powerups just lying on the floor like pills after getting the PHD. And what is the rarity of these FT’s again?
@@Notespooky also make it so it has a 25% take 2x the amount of coins displayed (which can make you bankrupt, basically a seperate value you need to make 0 otherwise you cant pick up coins) with the text appearing "You were 0.0000001 seconds too late!"
I forgot to mention this in the video but the dev of the mod said that there can't spawn more than 3 of these in a run to reduce the bloat of the trinket pool! Just fyi if some of you had concerns about that part. :P
Tying an in-game mechanic to the screenshot button that has nothing to do with a photo mode is a genius way to use trinkets, and matches the vanilla design document of half the items making no sense unless you are in the know. Thanks for the cool idea, NotSpooooky!
This mod is such a wacky and genius when it comes to design. I haven't unbinded the screenshot key from f12 and as such my steam cloud has a bunch of images from these nft runs.
i feel like they should make it so with isaacs token it works as a one time use sacred orb reroll if thats too powerful then maybe making drop 2 cracked dice would be good too (kinda as if you were breaking the nft)
I believe it's consumed normally - maybe only when held, however. Smelting is a bad idea at that rate, though, with it being a permanent loss or gain of coins.
Ngl, I think the mini poops that normal non tainted blue baby cant grab should give a special heart when picked up, like a soul heart but it lasts a floor or something
been using this for a few weeks now and didn't know it gave stat ups. i just thought it was cute when the player character holds up the trinket and the game takes a screenshot of it sdkljgfhsdlkfjghldf
If you need a video idea, there is a character in the Touhou Reverie mod named Seija that has unique interactions with 0 quality items and with 3-4 quality items, I would recommend checking it out its interesting, my favorite one being the buff she gives to Tiny Planet You will need the mod that gives item descriptions to properly see the changes
I feel like there should be other characters, with the missing amount of coin gakn/loss in between the amounts of the already implemented ones, ALSO when takinf the "screenshot" the token image should have a random chance to appear on every room next to any of the doors, to remind you its not unique anymore
1:44 I enjoy how even SlayXc2 does a commentary on NFTs. NFTs aren't inherently a bad idea. But it's clear that the only potential there is just money. The technology required to achieve a level of sustainability and efficiency while being as effective as people want is still going to take a long time.
nfts are inherently flawed because sure "screenshotting" it doesnt work, but if you were to save the image, upload it to a google drive and then put that on deepsea or whatever the fuck they use nowadays, its basically the same thing also, what if some hackers were to leak deepsea or whatever, and got the links for said files from the blockchain? or, what if that file in general was leaked? your investments basically gone at that point, because everyone has a link to the file, right? isnt that how the blockchain works?
@@The_Deep_Blue yeah, I can see your point there. Again, it'll take a LONG time until NFTs ARE worthy investments. Afaik, they're risky ventures that'll suck your wallets and scammers can profit off them.
