Pep stated he fancied trying international football and what better place to try it then in England where he knows many of the players and how the game is played. He’s got nothing left to prove at City, but the England team are in reverse and likely to achieve nothing any time soon if they carry on as they are. Pep must be shaking his head when he watches how bad in England play and how they can’t get the best out of his players, as he can! The other night the commentators kept saying they need to pop the ball over the top of the defence, which is pep ball!

I think most would love to see Pep in charge. Can we get him, is he interested? However......best league managers don't allways make the best National team managers. Don Revie, Graham Taylor, Fabio Capello.....BUT I'd certainly like to see what Pep could do. Certainly he would know how to pick a team and a structure.

I'd say England should go for like Michael Carrick, Keiran McKenna or Gary O'Neil. They may not be the biggest names, but all have shown tactical acuteness, and have done well with limited budgets. Plus employing such managers won't break the bank, and you'll have the advantage of having a British manager at the helm of things.

no one could say nothing because if Pep joined England we would be one of the hottest tickets to watch on the international stage our uninspiring dripfeed style of play which has kept us chained down for so long would be a thing of the past like WE would actually have teeth going forward not just passing sideways with every goal being a moments type goal? WE would actually have real intent, thought and clinical play with goals that come from great coaching and not random bits of quality play like WE shown in the EURO'S - WE would be on par with Germany and Spain who churn out the same goal over and over again

@@ppate8 so does other teams. It’s a level plain field and Pep has proven he can integrate and work with half a dozen English players in his system when he doesn’t have to. He could just buy Spanish, German and South American players. But at times half his squad was English.
