Hey at the 18 minute mark, that's ME and my buddies on the other peak! What a day. I've got a pic/video and I can see you on "your" peak. Pretty cool we just happened to be in such a remote spot at the same time, Riding motos to get up there.....wooooooaaaaaa. One HECK of a ride up, I'll just say that. :)

Tristan, i always enjoy your videos. I would love some closeups of some of the wild flowers you hike through. Even if it is just for a moment. I can pause the video and look up the name and info of them. Wild flowers are a passion of mine and I am not able to hike anymore. Thank you so much again for the videos.

Love your videos! They are the best. Such spectacular scenery. One thing though. Never get under a tree when lightening is near. Just get as low to the ground as you can. A lot of people are killed by lightning striking the tree they took shelter under. I want you safe and healthy so you can do many more spectacular videos.

If you are still in the neighborhood, I really enjoyed the hike at Freds Mountain, from the Grand Targhee Resort. Excellent views of the Teton range, and beautiful mountains in every direction, and a lot less people than the hikes at the Teton Park, like by Jenny Lake, etc. I did a YT video from that location, but I was recovering from Covid at the time and didn't have a lot of energy.

O Tetons last week were packed. But I fell in love with Wyoming and Idaho. The weather there changed by the hour.

Only Tristan would call scrambling across those scree slopes tame. Cannot even imagine trying to keep footing on sliding slopes like those. Definitely a sliding scale of tame.

It's a cool hike and I also prefer less crowded places. Although if you've never been in the Tetons, it's certainly a place to go to. Not many people actually get int the remote sections of the park, most stay in the frontcountry.

It works for me. I have spent many wonderful days in Wyoming sitting on vantage points waiting to photograph trains. There is an amazing amount of wildlife that almost goes unnoticed as you pass through, like your hummingbird. Thanks. for refreshing the memories.

The rain must make that type of ground more slippery and make it more susceptible to rock slides, that being said, WOW! beautiful desolate landscape and those meadows! I appreciate you getting eaten alive by those mosquitoes to bring us this adventure.

A high clearance car, a mountain bike and two decent legs. That's exactly what I use as well to explore the backcounty. In fact, I often do these partial loops, stashing my bike at a planned hiking endpoint and then pedal back to the car. My favorite part (moment) was when the bike showed up on camera at the 2nd trailhead… no one took it😅

Great video. I climbed Wyoming Peak and the Coffin Ridge in about 1980 as a part of a seismic survey across both of the Wyomide ranges. The survey lines ran from Big Piney to Cokeville. The summit house was still standing at that time. Once again you have provided me with a look back at some of my past exploits without having to expend the large amount of energy in my later years. Thanks for allowing me to re-visit some great memories of a wonderful place. Another place in the area you can check out is the Commissary Ridge. Great views from up there, too.

I use a folding bike on canoe trips sometimes. I park the truck down river and ride back to my canoe, fold the bike up and throw it in the canoe.

I also watch Wyoming geologist Myron Cook so I watch your videos with an eye for typographical features that Myron has pointed out. One such was "sloughing" against a slide that I recognized in your video. Over a half an hour video he slowly reveals the highlighted geologic feature. It's like painting a picture.. at first it doesn't look like much then slowly the image emerges. Fascinating. I'm a Big Fan of nature!

I did a lot of field work in the Wyoming, Salt River, and Snake River Ranges back in the early 1980's. I utilized a helicopter to get up the upper areas of the ranges, and then hiking down to the valley floors while performing my work. You should check out some of the cirques in the Salt River Range around Mount Fitzpatrick....very spectacular scenery.

You ask your viewers to tell what their favorite part was… I thought I would comment here about this on this post. There were several favorite parts to me. It was all so enjoyable - the visual and verbal description of the beautiful Wyoming Mountain Range, the waterfall and the way you explored its nature, the map showing the area of your hike, the challenge of your climb, the breathtaking 360 views of the other mountain ranges, the thunderstorm in the distance, the bike ride, and satisfied final return to your car. It was fun to watch! I am from Montana and have seen this kind of country but you make it come so alive to the senses. I look forward to Saturday mornings with your SUV RVing videos.

I enjoyed the video. I Like how you go into detail as far as the landscape goes and how you are reaching your spots while casually walking by what look like many amazing flowers, colorful lichen and that dead ram was awesome.

Ok, at the start I thought, yay! You'll be climbing smooth mountains for once, so we won't have to watch you on treacherous loose talus. Then it turned into something like Mount Talus Up the Frapping Wazoo. Oh well lol. That range must be extra old in contrast to the Tetons. If I remember Geology 101, older ranges have that round, smooth look. I liked the second small waterfall. It wasn't the second one you wanted to see, I know, but still beautiful and wow, gushing! This late in the season, no less. I also liked how you changed things up with the different route back and bike ride. That was very cool. You must be happy in your new homestead. You seem almost ebullient, Tristen. 😁 And I don't use the word ebullient lightly. Actually, I don't think I've ever used the word ebullient in my entire life. Another gorgeous, crisply edited, perfectly paced video. I'm addicted.

Beautiful area! I've snow machined about 50 miles of the Greys river trail,,starting about 2 miles from Alpine. Never camped in the Wyo range. Driven thru,,but after viewing this,,I'm going to have to make time for a visit. Lots of elk and moose,,and as you mentioned previously,,the entire area is a migratory route for deer and speed goats. Thanks

You should totally hook up with Prof Shawn Willsey who is a Geologist (lives in twin falls) that goes to many of places you go to as well. He's new to the RU-vid gig but giving it a go. Maybe you guys could do a couple videos together. He can add a little Geologist content to you and you can give him some pointers on youtube'ing and that drone you have. Just a suggestion. I've been following your channel for 2-3 years. I especially appreciate that you don't fill your videos with "music". I typically mute your drone footage so I also appreciate that you turn the camera on yourself when you resume talking. One suggestion, It would be helpful if you would tell us what month you are filming. When I watch a current video I assume it was filmed in the last month or two but when RU-vid suggests one of your older videos it can be difficult to guess what time of year it was filmed. Thanks and please keep up the good work.
