We think we found paradise in Morgans Bay, Eastern Cape, which is located on the Wild Coast of South Africa. We stayed at the lovely Mitford Hotel and wow this place is so beautiful. In this episode we take around the small little quaint town of Morgans Bay and give you a little history lesson from our life through a lens.
We take you on a short drive over the cliffs of Morgans Bay, to the Double Mouth Nature Reserve. We attempted to find the ever-popular Bead Beach (Treasure Beach), the site of a 1608 Portuguese shipwreck called Santo Espirito shipwreck, where Beads and shards of broken Ming Porcelain lie scattered among the shells.
We give you a tour of our lovely apartment, which has a beautiful view, that looks directly onto the beautiful Indian Ocean.

Our kids paid for us to have a long weekend at Morgan Bay. Such a treat. We stayed at Morgan Bay hotel and left feeling very spoilt.... such hospitality!!!! Loved your video.

The Morgan's Bay the wild coast is where ships go to die or disappear. Wow! The view is amazing. I love those waves. Love the hike along the beach. Stay away from those crabs. Crabs have a snippy personality. Safe travels!

The best view we have had thus far. We would have loved to have stayed there for longer, but had already pre-booked our accommodation for our next destination. There are so many species of birds here that it is something to go and have a look at. Thanks for watching. ONE LOVE

Wow your view from your balcony is incredible!! Would love to soak in that nice tub after a day at the beach 🥰 sounds like a pretty good price for the place too! “I’ll eat you” lol - best scene transition 😂 I bet there’s been a few ship wrecks there - seems very rocky, but a really cool place to walk. The views from the hotel are awesome. We love the genius discount too. Loved the hike, sorry you couldn't keep going further but it looked as you both enjoyed it regardless. I have a hate/mostly love relationship with travel days but it's different when you're driving yourself to the next destination as opposed to airplanes or busses. We love it ! We xcited to see the next accommodation

Wow that crab at the end was huge! I don't think we have crabs that big here, and we definitely don't have waves that big! We could definitely retire in a place like this too. The secluded beaches and beach hiking are so up our alley. Thanks for taking us on another awesome adventure!

The view from your balcony was amazing! I could spend hours there sat out there with a beer staring at the sea 😍 Interesting info about the shipwrecks - those waves did look pretty wild! Fascinating that you can actually find ship treasure, haha! Shame about the tide timing but it looked like a beautiful hike anyway.

The view from your hotel balcony is incredible! The waves crashing on the rocks is wild...and simply gorgeous. The hike was just lovely and I love the footprints on the rocks showing you the way. I can't believe there are pieces of porcelain on the beach from the shipwreck. What a cool place to visit!

I'm glad you finally found paradise after your last run in!🤩 Haha we have certainly done that before with the memory cards. Now when we get home after a day of filming we immediately take them off the chip!😏 also how bloody annoying can the tide be it affects your plans you had organise, hope you guys weren't too far on that hike before you realised it.. thanks guys for the video, keep on rocking🤜🤛😍

Guys, I'm totally living through your travel experiences right now! The scenery there did look like paradise. The beach looked amazing but that water seemed really rough. That little crab at the end looked fierce!!

The water in front of our accommodation was very rough and you defs wouldn't try and swim there, but at the main beach is was a little calmer, but still not a place to go and swim out far. Thanks for watching. ONE LOVE

Wow! This is so fascinating!! The Titanic of the South--never knew about any of that, I can't believe they have never found anything from the wreck. We need more history lessons from Adam!! hahah so fun! Also love the white foot marker--reminds me of when you guys hiked that one trail with colored marks on the rocks! So cool!
