Totally underrated! 16-part multitimbrality is the main reason why I picked the Virus as my main synth (and that fact that it can do virtually everything). I love that i can control what is essentially 16 synths via the Deluge. So cool! Another benefit is that i only need to learn one synth.
1:48 I hate to admit it, but in 1986 I purchased Alan Parson's Fairlight IIx, then in 1988 the Fairlight Series III, the latter costing just over half the value of my house. Probably not the most sensible purchases I ever made but amazing instruments to own.
this guy rules, this synth rules. i think about trading in my M for one daily, wanted one for about 4 years now, and thats the my favorite all-time synth. best synth demo's ive ever heard are from the kyra
🙌 Thank you! I'd take an M and this.. What a combo that would be .. So happy to her you enjoyed my presentation. It's definitely a synth that hit me in a good place! //Jason
I have the blue Kyra and I still have to learn a lot, but how inspired I got from this video. So beautiful sounds you magically achieve. The last song, is it somewhere where I can listen to the whole song? Because I really love what I hear.
Amazing performance with one of the most underrated synths from the recent years... Now that Waldorf has announced its "farewell", you'll see the aftermarket prices "flourishing"... Business as usual.
Kyra has a generous Patch storage capacity of 26 banks - A through to Z, each containing 128 patches. That’s a total of 3,328. The first seven banks are ‘user’ patches stored in RAM (Random Access Memory), meaning users can change them quickly and individually using the Store sequence. The remaining 19 banks are ROM (Read-Only Memory) patches that users can recall and use just like RAM patches but cannot be replaced using the Store sequence. It is, however, perfectly possible to freely copy whole banks between RAM and ROM, so all are user- programmable. And any Patch can be recalled via MIDI program changes and Bank select commands.
@@MrArpSolina I have waldorf M and i have no problem with colors. Maybe colors are very different when you consume some lsd, but in other cases, looks very similar. At first glance it could pass for waldorf M update
