I am looking at my worse nightmare.Crowds of rude tourists with selfie sticks.

Security around the kings guard should be updated, there should be a security zone that can not be entered by public .

These soldiers are so well trained , I couldn't cope with these tourists day in and day out. How they keep their patience especially when their horse is constantly harassed by these tourists 😊

Glad they’re getting tougher.

It’s ridiculous. The horses and guards should be behind those gates and they should be locked to the public. The public is too unruly, too many and too disrespectful. It seems the public only respects the heavily armed police.

The armed police should make sure the horses and the Kings guards are protected from the crowds of people at all times,

This is my favorite horse. He often shows his lack of patience with rude tourists. Way to go Big Boy.

I really don't think it's in anyone's best interest to be able to that close to poor soldiers and there horses

The closer to the Coronation you can see that the tolerance for ridiculous behavior by tourists is becoming increasingly less tolerated. Security appears to be increasing visibly. As it should be!

The people in the crowd act like zombies. Like they've never seen horses or an armed guard. One cannot believe these are adults.

Those horses must be incredibly well trained! I can't understand how they can stand, what seems like a million people a day, pushing, and shoving to pet those horses!!

Oh what part of stop do these people not get Anyone who is nervous/unsure the horses sense it and please please keep away from their eyes they are super sensitive Truthfully they should enforce the bollarded area as a no go zone because we all know they will blame the horses if there were an incident 😟😟😟😟😟

Can you imagine the public being so close to American guards, when guarding the White House. Our soldiers are at danger while performing these duties, but do it with good grace and a good sense of history.

I feel for the horses when their hoofs slip, my heart goes in my mouth.

I am shocked at the behaviour of tourists in London. Why the f**k do they touch the horses and the reins? Born and bred in London and on visits we would never, ever, even get close the the guards.

When the police tell you to move but YOU sneak back so YOU can get a picture ,such entitled people! How the Guards and Police tolerate this. BUT the poor horses.🐴🐴🐴🐴They are so so tolerant. How more people don't get bit or the horses don't bolt is beyond me.

If you want to meet a horse go to a riding barn. This horse is working .

They really do need to put barriers up the same as they did for the guards on foot. Not sure what they're called. So sad that society has deteriorated to such a point.

It's the tourists that are obnoxious! Who get to close and cause mayhem! And some anti royalists as well. I think in the times we find ourselves that there should be some major changes for that square and the post where the guards who are mounted. Keep the people away, no more pictures, or at least from 20 ft away. No getting near anyone. Those gates closed!

I don't like zero tolerance, but in this case i hope they got the infamous 'karen' away, forever.

It really irritates me when I see tourists still standing near when two guards are having a conversation. Surely basic good manners is to move away when any two people obviously known to each other are having a conversation.

I went into a panic there for a second as I thought the New horse coming in was going to slip on whatever was there. Something on the ground is slippery I think. WHY did people shout and then laugh 😡. The horse could have been seriously injured as could the guard. Well done little horse for your brilliant next move and staying up ❤❤

How do they tolorate the rudeness of all these tourists. I know horses, especially white face, he does not like his face being touched and tosses his head to make the point. Don't these people understand that these horses are unique and not circus animals? I just don't get it. I was really glad to see the officers prefenting access to these people. Just too many

There is a sort of Star Troopers vibe about these soldiers. They are actual soldiers who may have served in combat, not chocolate toy soldiers. I suspect they find this rotation very unpleasant. The repetitiveness, the endless pawing hands at the horses, the people getting n their way. Ugh.

The soldiers and the secunity guards are way too tolerant with the visitors who abused the privilege to be too near of the Queen’s guards.

These are the King's soldiers and horses. This behaviour would not be tolerated in any other country. Why in this country do soft on discipline ?

I would not want any of those people touching my horse. Who knows what they have on their hands that could get a horse sick.

I loved watching the father in the grey baseball cap explaining to his little girl all about the horse and guard. It looked like she was listening to every word. So sweet to see that closeness of father and child.

What gets me some of these tourists are on a guided tour so why are the guides telling them not do certain things such as holding the reins.These highly trained soldiers deserve total respect as do the horses And if a tourist gets hurt for being in the way oh well tough you deserve that

Why isn’t there a sign to not touch the horses as guards are not there for the pleasure of tourists. They are the Kings’ guards.

I cringed when the tip of that dismounting guard's scabbard hit the pavement. I remembered when I was first learning to move around while wearing a sword, and how awkward it was just sitting in a pew, let alone getting on and off a horse.

I believe that is inhumane treatment to those beautiful horses. How would you like to stand I one place, have crazy people putting their hands on you and the incessant noise? What is the purpose of this treatment? None? If a guard is needed an enclosed guard house would be safer and the horses could do “horse stuff” in green pastures!

I think it is so cute how the little kids wave and say hello or goodbye to the horses or the guards.

Some tiresome silly audience exasperate the poor horse. They’d be up in arms if the horse bit them or something equally aggressive. It would be their own fault.

And the guy on the right holding a child was told to told very quietly & politely to not touch the horse. He did not move away & so I thought, yeah he is going to keep touching the horse & guess what- he did it at least 3 more times. Wow. So macho. Great example to children.

This is so stressful for the guards and the horses!

They should paint a box, that the public shouldn't enter for the guards by the gate. This would stop any confusion and crowding.

I visited this area about twelve years ago in high summer. Maybe only half this number.

There should be no touching of the horse!!! There should be a white line around the guards and people may not cross that line. This security needs to be updated somehow.

So many iof these "tourists are totally and abolutely "aborrent"" they show no respect I have never seen so much bad behaviour at Horsegaurds in all the years I have visited since 1951/2 It was be said that on my first visist the "tourist's did not respect the fact that we in this country stand in line in order to get on a bus. I was 15 years old and was pushed out of the way in order for them to get on the bus without waiting in their turn. but saying that it is far worse behaviour now since the advent of their abiility to take 100's of photographs from their intrusive mobile phones and don't have to get the result printed off.

About time, too many disrespectful tourists. Mishandling the horses, pulling on reins, getting too close in personal space. It would be better if they could admire the guards and their mounts from a safe distance.

they should paint a line in front of the guards to keep people back a Then put up a "picture spot" pole like Disney does. Then one day a week bring out 6 or so horses to the yard for a 'pet the horses day'. I really believe a lot of these foreign tourists have never seen a horse up close. Maybe England needs a herd of retired horses at the London zoo.

They should paint semicircles on the pavements in front of the guards' archways with a warning to tourists to stay outside\beyond the lines. Then they'd be forewarned and know what distance to keep, and the guards could speak up with more authority when idiots behave badly and overstep the bounds.

I was taught never to touch an animal I didn't know. Guess these tourons didn't get that lesson.
