They do. I've watched several of these videos where they interact with children and are so gentle with them. I think it's because they sense children want to connect with the horse for itself... not for some selfie or stupid photo shoot. That seems to come with being an 'adult'!

One of the black horses loves children. This one is always sleepy and laid back. Arnie bites a lot. Love the differences.

Yes do, I'm a South African and this is shameful, although a beautiful pic, why do they want to touch the horse and stand next to them, really have no integrity.

I have already expressed my concern to King Charles about the problem with touching the horses when they grab the reines. They should not be allowed to even touch the horses.

Please send concerns to king Charles. Also when a guard presses buton for help it takes forever for someone to get there

EXCELLENT SUGGESTION! I'm going to take you up on your suggestion! I loved and admired Queen Elizabeth (I was 10 when she became Queen) and I admire and respect King Charles II. I'm sure if he watched some of these videos he would immediately do something to rectify the situation.

Both he and the horse were very patient. I find it objectionable that he and his mount are being treated like they are a theme park ride.

I disagree as if the horse can feel a fly land on his body holding/grabbing the rein will be felt by the horse and is an added stress/irritation for the horse

Sometimes noises, unruly mobs have upset some of the horses where they start acting up, people could get hurt by some stupid jerks grabbing the reins.

Respectful people know not to crowd and grab at a working animal- they know to give them space so that don't get spooked. Disrespectful people would bother to read a sign in any language

For a lot of the group tours, the tour host should explain to them why they should not touch the guards or their horses. I maintain. White lines around the front of the boxes with Do Not Cross and adding a line to the Beware sign saying do not touch the guards or horses might go a long way to reducing some of this daily circus.

that literally happened 7 months ago i was visiting my friends and we stopped by i think the girl was from the States she came back to her friends and said "racist bi**h" we tried to tell her little girls before her were petting the horse you grabbed the reins, she wasn't having it, it was like she found out how ignorant her comment was but she was doubling down because she felt embarrassed

Why bother to get out of bed if everything is paid for and you don't have to send your child to nursery if you don't feel like to. This country needs to make it harder for people on benefits to survive and get back into the workforce, because it's not fair on the taxpayers. Why should the taxpayers always pick up the bill so that politicians and lazy people should have a cushy life? I wouldn't mind so much if after years of working and wearing your body out eg knees and hips you would be selected accordingly but isn't the case. This country has gone to pot and it would take a miracle to rectify it.

I have thought the same thing for ages now. The poor horses think they are going to get a carrot or sugar lump but no... just leave the horse alone, it is not yours ! Grrrrr😡
