The colors of the dirt changes so quickly, the earth is rich. The protection for the animals is amazing. My compliments and thanks to the Africans who protect the wild animals. As always, love the big picture with your drone shots.
Stumbled upon 1 video....now I'm binge watching and enjoying them all. Thanks for honoring us with your bravery and adventure! ❤️ Love from the Antigua in the Caribbean and Kenya
“Why are you going alone?” “Because I like it!” The amount of people admiringly confused by this is testament to the true spirit of adventure responsible for this amazing solo documentary. Well played Noraly, well played!
The more of these videos I watch (and I have watched dozens of them), the more I admire Noraly's virtues. Intelligence, dignity, respect for others, courage, an independent spirit, a sense of humor, and boundless curiosity. She has what used to be called "good character", and these qualities are to be admired. And yes, Noraly is also a good looking woman. Beauty inside, and out. Carry on, Noraly. You have my utmost respect.
Itchy Boots, it’s so fascinating, you ride through all kinds of terrains for hours just like that, even with drone and selfie stick, and carry your whole life with you on little Savannah, for me you are a proper bike woman!
I’ve been thinking that Noraly is more that brave...but when a local in minibus looks astonished and thinks she’s very brave...well, it says it all. Thank you Noraly for your courage, charm and talent and the best adventure viewing on any platform.
I just have to point out that your Africa series video thumbnails have been off the charts good. Great compositions and design. Thumbnail game very strong in Africa. 💪
"No lion no? Ok" what a relief Noraly, because when you stop to view a giraffe or an elephant dangerous animals like lions, hyenas and leopards could be camouflaged right next to you. Be safe. Thanks for allowing us to travel with you.
Lions and leopards spend most of their day sleeping under tree shades or near waterholes to get closer to their prey. Nothing much really to worry about stopping for herbivores viewing even on a motorcycle.
This is by far the best travel/documentary channel on RU-vid. Noraly takes you to places that most people will never see in their lifetime. She also does incredible photography especially the drone shots. Keep up the good work Noraly and may you always stay safe.
I took my Motorbike camping for a week for the first time, and came across some really rocky gravel roads going straight uphill. I was so scared at first but because of watching you, Noraly, I was sure I could make it! You have given me the confidence to ride on rocky terrain in weird places, on unpaved roads! Thanks for the adventure and for being an amazing inspiration for us solo female bikers! :)
Can't get more South African than referring to a braai and vetkoek. Africa, a place your feet may leave (in your case your Itchy Boots), but your heart will always be. Thank you for all your hard work in sharing your adventures with us 😊🙌
Those things you saw aren't cacti, they are euphorbia's. A case of Parallel Evolution. Euphorbia's grow in the old world (Africa) whilst cacti grow in the new world (America) though some species have been brought over from America to Africa and other continents (especially opuntias, the prickly pears). The main difference between them is that the sap in euphorbias is white and sticky, and poisonous. Loving the series, I've upthumbed and downloaded every episode :)
"You are brave" he says, I think it safe to say that, we all YTer's thank you, Noraly for being brave, and doing what you do & sharing with us your adventures. Particular South Africa adventure, Peace
You have the same intrepid spirit of my sweet bride of 46 years, Noraly! She taught me to see beauty and adventure in everyday experience. Thanks for everything.
Nah she is playing with fire doing all that alone....there are thieves all over the place and a huge part of the population do not work and have no money and she was lucky but she will not always be that lucky....and she can have a major mechanical problem in the middle of nowhere...or get an accident and get badly hurt....again in the middle of no where....
I'm do not dream such a life, i like riding motorbike and traveling, too but in a range of "normality". I think she goes boyond, this is beyond , she's crazy in my opinion, i hope luck will never leave her.
I marvel at your sense of adventure! Thanks for sharing it with "we internet!" Your perpetual optimism and great attitude leads you to many new adventures. I hope you are able to finish your trip from Argentina to Alaska one day when the world gets a little more normal.
It´s amazing to follow You on this journey, i see africa from another perspective, You talk to the locals and shows us that they are ordinary people like all other people in the world.
"Sand road"? they should rename it: "ITCHY BOOTS Highway" 😉🏍👍🐘🦒 Long ride today and still you took time to get some wonderful views with your drone. Thank you, Thank you!❤❤
Fantastic drone footage. This is the Africa I love : Huge, impossibly blue skies, red earth, stunning views that go on forever, friendly folk, random wildlife. Just love it !
I agree..amazing to me is that there are no Power lines or towers to blemish the views, and your drone footage was fantastic. Thanks, Noraly! Safe travels for you!
Just another day at the zoo eh...the amount of animals you are seeing is fantastic! And they aren’t like the dogs you’ve encountered through all your travels. They seem content to gaze upon the mysterious Itchy Boots in awe. The drone footage was great! Another great video in the can! Thanks for taking us along🏍🇺🇸
Yes absolutely, the Dog's was more Dangerous than the Elegant's and so on wild Animal . By safe Noraly take care real awesome this travel, love your motorbike too. I never have seen since South Africa so many Fens Gats to open and close in every Country. Thanks 👍😊😘 Noraly, so different to Germany 10 - 4 .
What a ride! Watching this at the same time as Season 6 (which I am up to date with). The coincidence of the giant cactii is uncanny. And it's like I'm flipping through my high school geography textbooks in Kenya all over again, decades later, only that these videos carry more depth. Thank you Noraly 😊
Hi Noraly,, yes you have to be careful, the Botswana anti poaching unit are very serious, they first shoot and if you still alive, then they asked questions,, very nice vid, please be safe out there,, have a safe and blessed weekend,, keep well my friend
I always look forward to my lunch hour on Friday because I get to spend it with you vicariously traveling while I sit here and enjoy my lunch. Always love your videos thank you so much travel safe
In the High and Far-Off Times the Elephant, O Best Beloved, had no trunk. He had only a blackish, bulgy nose, as big as a boot, that he could wriggle about from side to side; but he couldn’t pick up things with it. But there was one Elephant-a new Elephant-an Elephant’s Child
oh boy, I'm that van driver guy saying "errrrr!!!!", lol, oh Noraly, what a journey, huh? "because I like it", and the man says "I wish you a good journey", and then everybody in the van waving good bye for you, I'm quite touched by these things. It is as if you are going to a mission, fighting the environment and all sorts of wonders in the way
When the first manned expedition goes to Mars, Noraly needs to be the team leader. By that time, she will have explored most of planet Earth and she will be ready for a new challenge. Plus, she is totally fearless.
Your right . She's got the right mental attitude. Gets the job done . Flexible. Keeps her head. Measures the risk. Recognizes her own satisfaction at the end of the day. NASA would have no worries with her.
Thuli block is beautiful. Had a few wonderful close up elephant encounters in the bush camps up there - they're beautiful, majestic beings. Just love how incredibly quiet and ghost-like these enormous beings can be, yet they'll shred a huge tree with such ease, and leave a messy trail behind. Enjoy this spectacular area Noraly ... I'm secretly envious! Lol ...
The videos would vanish behind a paywall then. Nah, it's good the way it is. P.S.: Mentioning paywalls: There's none here, but you can get nice T-shirts and scarves from her shop! ^^)
You are right about Noraly's fantastic production quality but I don't see her surrendering her fierce independence to take instruction from a boss or director unless the amount of money was impossible to refuse. I think that is the reason we all admire her so much.
The Tuli Block is an incredible area for wildlife. It's never been developed. I spent a month there doing research back in 1982. We were charged by a lion and an elephant and lived to tell the tale. Thanks for taking me back to a place I'll probably never return to.
Coming across a large elephant like that would be incredible. I imagine the trick is to remain calm, almost indifferent - but for a moment there when the ears briefly came up to let you know he had had enough. It must be really something when even the locals think your a very brave person to be riding alone through all the animals casually wandering about. Or was it the poacher they were referring to. Stay safe.
@@NathiENkomo-wl6sv it seemed to me she hesitated before answering she was alone. It would have been tempting to say others were right behind me! I had an attempt to kidnap me when I was traveling alone in Nigeria three years ago.
What a ride! Clear 'n clean visor to spot non camouflaged elephant, giraffes, small dust devil, non shocking gate plus warthogs. Good bridges to cross and vast expanse of area via drone. Luggage moving through sandy areas faster and surprised locals ... now off to breakfast as your lunch made me hungry Noraly.
Noraly makes such great videos. They makes you feel like you are the passenger on her bike. I was born in Zimbabwe, a place I hope Noraly visits next. Botswana is a beautiful country, stable, democratic and very minor corruption. The people are a credit to their country as they are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. May you be safe on your journey Noraly, and thank you for making us feel like we are there with you.
@@allseeingotto2912 What are you even talking about? Most of them lives there. People need to educate themselves instead of commenting nonsense on thread’s.
What more could happen? Stay on the main track or get shot! Wild elephants, giraffes, zebra, wart hogs and concerned, helpful locals abound! As usual, fantastic drone footage! Ride safe Noraly!
Through this channel i now know so many, i Stay In Zimbabwe, but i just knew some quite nice places even within my country through this channel, thanks to you ITCHY BOOTS 👍
Such great riding today. I sense that you have found a new level of confidence since your racing around the Salt pans with the Dakar Boys. Brilliant riding today Noraly. You just slayed the sand and gravel at a much faster pace than ever before. I am going to miss your oohs & ahs when you encountered tough sections before.
Very brave Noraly! Love your drone shots, please be safe and stay positive. Thanks for the content. Hello from an Indian living in Netherlands for 10 years.
I admire your ability to travel and upload two or more videos a week, Downloading, choosing content, editing and uploading takes hours, let alone talking to yourself all day whilst touring. I don't have that ability to chat into a helmet so I rather stop and take photos. Furthermore, whilst I often review my photos from 40 years ago, I never review video a second time taken last week.
That little CRF250L is amazing. Seems to take a beating on some of the worst terrain imaginable and just keeps on going. And the fact you bought it used with a fair amount of km's already on it says Honda must have done their homework.
Hi Noraly, once again you managed to leave me open mouth….!!!! Fantastic video, I don’t know how you manage to do your touring, filming, editing and looking for new places where to go and then come up with such a wonderful presentation!!!!! Amazing, nothing short of amazing!!! Thanks again for sharing it with us.
Wonderful to see the differences in soils and vegetation. Love the peaceful moments with the animals - it’s like they know you are not a threat when they stand still and look back at you. You made 7 hours riding look easy. The walk to your dinner was as if I was there with you. As usual your music, drone shots and editing made a wonderful story. You are restoring my faith in humanity when you interact with people and you are told “I wish you a good journey”. Lovely! I too wish you a wonderful journey Noraly! Thank you for sharing these places and adventures.
“Bravery” is truly in the eye of the beholder. Just out of college, I worked for a while as an adjunct therapist in a rehab unit at a psychiatric hospital. Many of the patients perceived me as incredibly brave...because I had, in my mid-20s, left my parents’ home and was living independently several hundred miles away!
We discovered your videos quite recently and are totally addicted to watching your journeys each evening. We are enthralled and in awe of your spirit of adventure, your positivity in the face of challenges and love the places you take us to. Stay well, stay safe.
Another winner, Noraly. Interesting to note that most of the individuals you’ve encountered in Botswana are more diligent about wearing there protective masks than those people in my Long Island New York community.
For me, you see one dirt road in Africa or South America, you seen 'em all - even if you discount the dangers of traveling alone on a motorbike. Yet, one can't but admire Noraly's courage and adventurous spirit of doing what she loves to do.
Noraly you are truly an inspiration. I'm 70 and have been riding all my life and I don't think I've come across a braver biker than you. Have seen all your series and look forward to each fresh instalment. Stay safe and enjoy. Trevor Bruce, Durban, South Africa
So I was on my bike in my little town of Sudbury, Ontario, Canada and doesn't some gentleman come up and compliment me on my Itchy Boots neck buff!! We shared a "big fan" moment...it made my day!! Good job Noraly, you're reach is far💜🇨🇦🍁❤
You are literally living every bikers dream which most of us neither have time, money or nevertheless courage to attempt. Good luck & thanks for bringing amazing experiences to all of us.
And the dirt devil said... "Look a free-spirited motorcycle devil" . I loved how you asked the official at the gate if there were lions after you're already halfway there. The drone footage of the Limpopo river was stunning as well as the changing scenery. And the wildlife.... well it's just wild 😊 . What an adventure for wildlife to just run into you 😁. And the guy who called you boss and then found out you were the female boss 😂. It's just an all-round adventure for everyone. Safe riding. Waiting for what's in store on Monday
Well it was about 8:00am here in Montana when I started watching so a cup of coffee and some biscotti were in order for my 7 hour journey. Today’s journey did not wear me out as much as the last . I must be building up my endurance for these longer days . Thanks I feel much better, but I may have to take a shot nap now . :-)
Beautiful, amazing scenery and it must be so so special to ride in an area with so much wild life. I see more and more confidence in riding on sand, 👍🏼😎
Woohoo, and the adventure continues. You'll need a kevlar vest just in case. Never mind the legal guys, watch for "poachers" who may "think" you're the police. Hopefully the folks you met in the van are not them, asking if you've seen any animals. 🦌🦏🐘🦧🦍🐆 Thanks for taking us here N. Once again another spectacular drone sequence filming that great river/lake and lovely greenery. Take care and ride safe. 🖖🏼🤟🏼
No one shoot at Noraly, or else... I love to see how serious Botswana is about protecting their wildlife, though! If only more countries here in Europe respected their like Botswana does! Especially a certain one that rhymes with harmony. ;o) Another lovely episode! ^^)
I agree ... Here in the US, we invade their (wild animal) territory, the attack us, we kill them because they are "invading our space" ... Sometimes I hate being part of the human race😭😭 ...
