Glad I found this. I have a 2015 Trail Boss and the test hole I drilled hit the bed liner. I couldn’t figure out how to use that tool anyway. Bolting it on feels more secure. Nice and useful video! 👍🏽
Can you make a video of how you piggy backed so many lights together? Just a quick video of what it looks like? Just wondering if you use a relay or a inline fuse?
All I did was piggy back all of them together using some extra wire I had laying around. Paired two together and used wire to go to the next to and so on.
Nice truck I stumbled on your video(s) when trying to remove my center console on my 2018 ED 4x4. I want to add wireless charging at the smartphone holder, and also add/replace the 12vac socket with USB ports. I’m debating on removing 12vac since it does have function but was thinking where to add my USB ports. This video has enlightened me to some options I never considered. Thank you
How are the holes you drilled holding up? Any rust or corrosion? Wondering if you did anything particular during the install to prevent rust. I am hesitant to drill into my bed rail haha
How did you piggy back all the led pods together? Did you make your own harness? Used relays? Thanks you. Needing help with that. I copied your set up sir.
Used the wire that came with actuator. Ran it down the sport bar tube, down the back of the bed of the truck, underneath the truck to the battery. The switch part of it was run through the firewall to my console.
Hey Mark! I do not have the actuated lights. I have been experimenting with different multi light options. Like you, I wanted light that would clear the cab and not leave a big shadow. I think I went a little overkill with some 9inch amazon lights, but they sure are bright. I also just got an AEV snorkel or (raised intake) in the mail, so it's about time to get that installed.
Installed! This was a pain in the ass!!!!! I have prewired it, but I have not installed lights yet. I have bought 3 different types on Amazon just to see what I like... Those Rigid Industries cubes are $434 a piece!!!!!! And no one else makes 6" cube/square lights!
Poor design... it rattles too much on the road and the bar doesn’t support the weight of the lights. I’d suggest a different product. Tried to find a solution with customer support and was not satisfied. I’m sure there are better products out there.
Ran the wires down the drivers side post of the sport bar. Then down between the cab and bed. Under the truck to the battery. Shoot me an email and I can send you pictures if you'd like.
@@RamRebelMods I got it wired up just dangles instead of through the post.i don't want to clip then reattach .but the connections are too wide to go through the post holes
@@RamRebelMods awesome, i just got one, and saw a couple of comments about rust.... was thinking they just live in in a cold environment like jersey or something. feels good to hear about your build.
@@RamRebelMods dam, i think i may have bitten more than i can chew.. im new to the 4x4 game and didnt realize lights can be that heavy lol. thankyou for the info, and man your rebel is sick dude.
