this series is already great! i think the next episode id like to see is how to start a decent coordinate, currently i am struggling to figure out gothic lolita 🤣
@FluffyKawaiiJo yes! Like when they break just before a meet or the way they are meant to go on the head doesn't work for the wearer. Maybe include temporary fixes and long term solutions other than buying something new.
I like the message but bodyline hasn't done a restock in like a year now. I wouldn't recommend them to newcomers since they're sold out of almost everything in their lolita section besides a few xs colorways.
You can still find their dresses for super cheap on Lacemaket for example. I agree they have very limited stock now, but it’s still a good place to get very good basics for cheap.
I agree with the other comments, Bodyline is problematic. It's always sold out. I'm surprised you didn't mention DevilInspired, for a cheap option. I would love to see an episode on shoes, please! :) Very cute video!
I am the one surprised that you mention DevilInspired and cheap in the same sentence and then call another shop problematic. DevilInpired is among the most expensive TaoBao resellers there is. I have compared them with several other options in my videos. They are not problematic per say but you can get the exact same things way cheaper somewhere else. Whereas Bodyline, if you do find you size, cut and colorway, which I agree might be difficult due to the lack of restock, will be way cheaper. Like I said in the video, I am not ready to endorse any TaoBao reseller at the moment because either they are too expensive or really problematic like ship the wrong size or sell replicas. How would you like me to cover the topic of shoes in SOS Kawaii? Just where to find shoes?
@FluffyKawaiiJo I understand how supporting any one of these places can be an issue. I prefer shopping at Meta, where what is for sale is actually for sale. I've purchased items from Bodyline only to be contacted afterward and told that they weren't actually in stock anymore, and then asked what I wanted to replace it with. Asking for other items via email, and then being told that those also weren't in stock was really frustrating, especially when the website said otherwise. I ended up getting a refund, because they didn't have anything I wanted. Meta isn't cheap, but they are completely reliable, which is why I shop there. Compared to Meta, Devilinspired is cheap with dresses around or under $100. I've also never had a problem with Devilinspired when ordering, long waits sometimes, but no problems. But I know that you have a lot more experience with buying from other Taobao resellers , and by comparison Devilinspired has quite a mark up, so it seems expensive. Ordering from the US, Devilinspired was one of the first places I ever tried because I could navigate the website without question. When someone asks me what place to try first, I always say Devilinspired first, because it's all in english, they constantly have sales, their customer service is nice, and some of the dresses are really beautiful. But I do think where you live complicates ordering, and that there are probably better alternatives. As for shoes, I would love covering quality and fair price. I love Cotton Candy Feet, but they are pretty expensive. Some people think their prices are pretty fair for the quality, but I ultimately don't know enough to say. I know you know a lot about shoe options, so anything on that topic would help. Thank you for responding!
Thanks for this series ❤ I’ve been into Lolita fashion for a long long time but I wore it only once! I am looking to try again this year and your content helps a lot! I wish you success and a lot of cute things in your life ❤
