I review tons of weird places to buy lolita fashion at. Check out this playlist: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-7wvktLpQmJo.html Do you have places where you are not sure if you can buy lolita fashion from? Ask in the comment and I will try it.
It's not seeds, it's a perfume packet thing. Like you put the whole packet (don't open it) in your shoe box or your closet and it makes your clothes smell nice. :3 A lot of sellers put those in with shoes or other things that might have a chemical smell.
Tights definitely! They have thousands very affordable and gorgeous. But wristcuffs I found only 4-5 different design on all AliExpress. Maybe I don’t have the right keywords but those are amazing!
What I started doing for JSKs that have attached waist ties is actually turning the dress around so the back is as the front to tie the bow and then while it's still on me turning it back around so it's on properly. Works pretty well for dresses with shirring at the back like this one. Did this for a Diamond Honey JSK and even a Meta JSK that I was too lazy to undo because it had two buttons on each side. XD
Oh that’s interesting. I wonder though if the front part of the dress is as wide as the back at the waist. Because I would be afraid that it’s too tight or too loose after I turn it back.
I literally just bought this same print dress but in pink and I love it! That color is really pretty on you too!! I also got mine off of AliExpress as well.
No this one is a legitimate TaoBao brand piece. Go for it! In the description I wrote comments next to brands about what I think is good or bad from their store.
My siblings got me the same dress for christmas but through Devil Inspired! It was actually a little bit cheaper there, but I love the print soooooo much.
Hi! So this video helped me figure out that my cat really likes your voice. He immediately came over and plopped on my lap even though he is very shy about getting affection! He liked watching you!

The shipping is too long, but otherwise, thumbs up! Also very good sewing supplies for Loli on Ali Ex, particularly lace trims. Have a look through cotton fabrics by the yard (some are embroidered!), guipure lace trims, for sewing!
Great gets Jo! 😃 Also I order the same wrist cuffs from DevilInspired in the black color. It’s from the brand, Strawberry Witch. The Wine Red color is so pretty! Also you always find great socks and I’m going definitely going to order in the black!
Oh! I know that brand. That’s good to know they have nice wristcuffs. Those wine tights would be super pretty in black too. Can’t wait for our call today. It’s been a while!
I'm waiting on that dress in the same colourway and so far this is the only way I can see it, I haven't really found any other videos or even pictures of people with it, so I'm really happy you got it :3
Usually I also buy shoes, accessories and blouses through aliexpress and never had any quality issues. But I agree, dresses are something else. I bought two dresses and both were ok but I knew they were from taobao shops. I would definitely keep my hands off from cheap ap replicas for 25€ or similar. :D
Your nose is so cute omg!! Also, this video has been a major help. I will add, that I'll see an ad on Youvimi or similar brands and it'll be £60+ for a layered dress and then see it on aliexpress or amazon for £20!
Whoa! You are the first ever person to comment something cute on my nose! Thank you. If you see a dress that is £20 anywhere it’s probably a replica unless it’s a second hand or Bodyline. Just be warned.
Love that beautiful dress!! It would be perfect for the holidays! I think maybe a blouse with a longer sleeve would look good, like elbow length. And a maybe simpler shoe to highlight those pretty tights. Very nice look, Joelle! 😀
I have ordered dresses and accessories from aliexpress before it worked out good for me and everything came in timely manner and there are some good stores on there like loligals also lixm store and lolita girl store are amazing but of course other people have different experiences these are just my experiences
Thanks! That's right it would work. Recently I tried more unconventional colors for Christmas, like this purple coord: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-GMvYorat2v0.html
Ah, this video is amazing! I bought legitimate clothes from aliexpress before, now I'm definitely going to look for lolita fashion (at least the accessories and cheap blouses!) This was so helpful because Aliexpress is a easier way for me to buy it from my country (I don't have to have a credit card to buy things from there!)! thank you so much!
I bought that blouse but in pink! I didn't like the lace, so I just carefully went around and cut it off. I also dyed it a bit more cool-toned since the pink was really too warm for most of my wardrobe. The white tights are Baby replicas, btw. (I've heard them called "Meme socks" since they were so popular) I think Muufish or some other sock shop on Taobao carried them for eons. I bought a pair a millenia ago, and normally socks aren't an issue for me. But they came to my knees. There's not so much stretch with them at all, which is sad. IDK if the authentic ones are any better. I recall hearing similar complaints about those too. For the waist bow, you can probably go to any craft store and get a pin back and then sew it to the middle of the bow so it doesn't float there awkwardly. It probably should've been there already but eh, it's a cheaper dress. The print is really cute too!
Oh too bad for the socks :( oh yes you are right, I should another pin in the middle. Actually the ones on the sides are glued on and one unglued itself on the first time I wore the dress 😭 now I can fix both ! I agree the lace on the blouse was really not the best. I understand how it can even be worst for a colored blouse.
Why do people always shit on replicas? I've seen replicas that were better quality than some mass-produced originals. Brands don't always retain their quality when they get popular
I had bought my 1st dress on AliExpress, the fact I was very lucky to get a proper dress. They had messaged me saying they had been a smoker so I had hand-washed my dress and after I had fully cleaned it out & it was dry, It was very soft and lacing was fully done correctly and was not cheap material so I'd not say it's the best area to get dresses, but if you know the brands it does give a slightly higher chance [it was a infanta dress so it did explain the price of 53$ ]
I own 2 pairs of L&D shoes that I bought on Ebay. It's a Taobao brand which usually create its own patterns. Also I ordered my shoes a size too small and while being tight they are so comfy ! I totally recommend.
@@FluffyKawaiiJo Well, I'm actually in-between sizes. For too long I have been ordering the smaller size that fits because I use to buy a lot of Bodyline shoes and they are a bit oversized. So this time again I ordered a size 38 while I should have taken the 39.
@@Lusty0Majo Oh, shoe sizes is never easy. Even within one brand sometimes some models are bigger than the others for the same size. I see that for Fluffy Tori but I also sell a lot of cheerleading shoes online in my other business and I got a lot of returns because it's very hard to figure out which size to order.
The white mesh socks, sadly, are replicas. This is a design that BtSSB do quite often and is pretty unique to them. I have those socks myself (also the replicas) and they don't stretch very well, so I'd like to one day compare them to the real ones, see if they deliver better quality and better stretch. Personally, I like this wig on you, but it is better suited for classic coords (even with that purple at the bottom). I think if you also wore a different colour coordinate (maybe a lighter one?) and had a more natural makeup, the wig would look different on you. Are you going to keep the lace on the shoes? The low quality isn't that noticeable when worn, but I think that together with the detachable clips they make your ankles look wider. Whereas if there was none of that lace and you could see a bit of your tights between the straps, it would make your ankles look slimmer. They are cute shoes though, I was impressed that they had ridges in the sole, that makes them much less slippery. And lastly, yay for more wine! It is one of my favourite colours, so even though I know you're moving your wardrobe to be mint and pink, I will cheer on every wine coloured dress you get :P
Ahaha! Wine is not going away apparently 😀 I didn’t consider cutting out the ugly lace on the shoe. But I don’t think it’s easily removable. But I can maybe remove the whole ankle part. I was expecting that the white tights might be replicas 😢 I liked this wig with this dress when I wore it with a pink blouse. But I will have to try it with other colors too. We’ll see.
I've been told that most brand mesh-style OTKs like these have limited stretch, sadly. I wanted a pair because it gets hot where I live but I like coverage for my legs, and the seller I messaged admitted she was selling them because their stretch was so minimal :(
The dresses on Aliexpress are actually replica of some popular Chinese Lolita brands from taobao. I suggest you buy Lolita dresses from Taobao and there are a bunch of original Lolita stores, but you still need to do some research to find some legit stores.
Um. I don't know if my comment got deleted and why. But I was just thanking you for helping me with finding my favourite dress which also happen to be Dream in Cage OP. Well.. thanks again I guess
You’re welcome! I have more than 400 other lolita videos. Including a series where we try crazy sports in lolita dresses. Feel free to check out my other videos.
Why does everyone hate waist ties, they don´t deserve that! (joking, but i do love how they give definition to the back. For me, it´s worth the effort of making a bow behind my back) I´m relieved to know even people who have been wearing the fashion for a while buy replicas accidentally sometimes, it makes me feel less dumb for getting a design replica from bodyline.
Ahah. I definitely need to give more love to the waist ties. But I am too lazy to spend time with that. And i don’t think that a bow in your back is confortable for sitting. Yes, even I accidentally buy replicas 😭
@@FluffyKawaiiJo Thank you for this video. I am not an Lolita but very intrested in the fashion. I was wondering for a long time now if cheaper options would be allowed. I love Ali Express.
@@jachowl4467 Don't let anyone tell you that you need to buy big brands to wear lolita fashion. As long as you respect the silhouette and have a petticoat, there are a lot of indie brands, Taobao brands and such that are lolita. Just don't buy replicas or costumes claiming to be lolita.
I found a good shop via Instagram. It's called MultiPalShop. It's got a lot of really cute, more on the casual side, Lolita clothes. It's based in Japan, but ships all over (I'm in the US). I've gotten 3 things from it so far and I love them so much. They're like peak quality. The items are Hand-wash and Hang to Dry or Dry Clean Only (but as a cosplayer 50% of my stuff is Dry Clean anyway because of fancy fabric or delicate embroidery). Some of the stuff is second hand, but she grades the quality of the item and doesn't sell anything with stains, rips, or missing buttons (A+ brand new to B lightly worn items only). Her prices are great, as so far no item has exceeded $100 (General range is $60-$80) and has a set shipping cost of (I think) $9. There's no refunds of returns, but each item has the size measurements (in centimeters) so make absolute sure you read them before purchasing, know your own measurements, and lave at least 3cm extra room. That being said, most skirts and dresses do have a little elastic in the back in case your a few cm larger, but don't bet on that. The sizes, like most Japanese clothes, are very small (70-80cm range) and some items are only one size. However, the items are very cute (mostly skirts and blouses, a few dresses). Here is the link: multipalstore.tokyo/all-products
That’s a cute store. However even though they use the tag lolita, they don’t have lolita brands. It’s mostly Otome and Himekaji brands. But all of them very cute.
Socks... Sockdreams has some really cute socks, from ankle length to thigh high to super long. I have 5 pairs and their all really nice and thick and not itchy. They've got lots of colors and styles, even pride flag colored ones too! Prices range from $16 to $20 which is a little pricey for just socks but they are high quality. They do also have leggings/tights, lace socks, and garter belts to keep your socks up (also body adhesive, which I use, just roll it on and stick the sock and it stays, washes off in the shower/laundry). They aren't a Lolita company, so they wont have socks that specifically match a dress or skirt, but they're good for putting together an outfit from scratch or one that doesn't have matching accessories.
I saw somewhere that loligals ( on aliexpress ofc) have good/high quality dresses!! I dont know if its true but atm i can only buy anything lolita related on aliexpress-
That’s awesome! To start if you don’t have a big budget I suggest you look at Bodyline or TaoBao resellers. Just stay away from replicas. I was gifted a dress for my first cord from Amazon and it’s surprisingly good quality, since then I buy main dresses off of lace market but I get accessories off of Amazon (I’m disabled and can’t drive so online is my safe haven) how do you feel about lolita stuff from Amazon?
I have never tried Amazon but there are so many online places with a better choice and probably also better prices than Amazon. I have videos about AliExpress accessories. But for dresses and everything I highly recommend 42 lolita.
@@FluffyKawaiiJo I’ve had pretty good luck with alli express! I saw your video and was curious so I tried it and it honestly was good quality and a nice coord! I also figured out it was a taou baou listing from the of seller
I bought some lolita clothing on ALiExpress and I had good experiences with them. The items was from Lolita Princess and SouffleSong. But for me, now, the doller is too much expensive!! :(
I bought this exact same white socks, I believe from the same seller, and they dont fit me well too, and I'm not plus size... I consider myself M size, and they just slip down my legs, even being so tight! I believe they only fit well really thin Chinese girls lol. China should consider that the whole world wears theyr products.
They have so many Chinese customers. I don’t know what percentage is lolitas from the west in Japanese and Chinese sales, but it must not be a lot. It’s hard to make one-sizes-fits-all garments that fits all body shapes. 😭
That’s fine. But be sure to check the links in the description for what store is recommended for what. And try to avoid the dresses that are too cheap. They will probably be replicas.
Honestly when I saw the shop picture of the blouse I thought "Hey, that looks like a Souffle Song blouse!". Considering the bad lace, maybe you got a replica?
Definitely not. You can look at the description and I list which store within the site I recommend for what type of items. Not all are good and some are better than other. In general I wouldn’t recommend AliExpress for beginners because there are a lot of replicas and bad quality items and you need to be very careful to know what is good or not.
The Outfit is really Pretty. But when I buy from Aliexpress the Quality is usually Pretty bad… so how dose it feel? Dose the material feel good or cheep?
I have question what size is that dress because I am also I plus size as well and I am usually afarid to buy the dresses on Aliexpress and is blouse separate I am a xl in the U.S but in Asian sizing I am 4xl. (:
Ahaha!
Hello. How stretchy do you think the dress is? I'm not sure whether to get size medium or large. Do you think a size large would be too big if I weighed 120? Or would it still fit?? I don't want it to be too small since I have a big butt.
Hi! First in lolita fashion, your butt size has no impact all all because of the shape of the dress. What is important is not your weight, but your measurements. You need to know your bust and waist measurements and usually the listing will have a size chart. Just so you know, I weight about 70kg and in Chinese sizes I usually take the XL or bigger. Also lolita dresses most of the time have back shirring. Meaning that it’s elastic. So you are usually safer by taking a size bigger than a size smaller. I hope this helped.
I swear to god every time I buy lolita or hanfu from aliexpress it always turns out to be a replica. I cri. I want the original so bad but it's out of stock on taobao.
@@FluffyKawaiiJo Recent purchases are from Meow Girl and Sharon Chen Store. Although Loliloli Shop for Lolita Princess isn't true lolita (they're actually hime-gyaru and larme-kei), at least the brands they carry are authentic.
Ordered a dress and a blouse from aliexpress (custom size) from a lolita indie store called melonshow and I'm rlly hope I'm not getting scammed. I hope my haul is as successful as u
You said that the wish dress you got was a replica, but in the wish video, you said the dress the 'To Alice' brand? You said you saw a dress that you thought was a replica but you didn't buy that one. I think you got confused! Love your videos 😊
Thank you. So in the wish video I was trying very hard to not get a replica. I saw replicas but I thought that the one I had bought was a legitimate To Alice. But it turned out later that it was a replica.
@@FluffyKawaiiJo Oh no! I'm new to lolita, and honestly, I would be so worried about buying from toaboa or toaboa resellers in case they are replicas... it's so hard to know for sure in lolita in general!
I think I mentioned it in the video. I would says 5-8 weeks. But with the current world situation I wouldn’t count on it arriving on time unfortunately. You should look for local options, maybe ask your local communities to see if anyone want to see something or even let you borrow a dress.
@@FluffyKawaiiJo I didn’t really mean I am a terrible person! 😅 that was a huge exaggeration!! I just wash them when they’re icky! 😂 I’m sorry I didn’t mean to upset you!!
I just got in Lolita but i live in belguim in Europe so if I wanna buy anything from angelic pretty or other like brands it will cost about as mutch as the dress to transport it here so yeah idk where to shop Lolita got any tips?
