🏐 There are light-proof glasses in front of your eyes, a ringing ball in your hands, and a gate behind you, the most unique among all sports, as wide as 9 meters!
Today everyone could try themselves in an inclusive sports game - goalball. An open training session for people with disabilities and volunteers took place at the Lokomotiv sports complex in the village of Demikhovo.
📍 Useful programs were held in 3 cities: Moscow, Krasnogorsk and for the first time in Orekhovo-Zuyev, since the Center for the Development of Volunteerism in our city became officially Welcome. The center is the first in the Moscow region.
🤾The open goalball training was held under the guidance of the senior coach of the Podmoskovie goalball team, coach of the Russian national team Dmitry Shipilov. It was attended by athletes of the national team of the region, as well as guys from the local inclusive sports club "Istoki".
✔️ The main goal is the exchange of experience. The national team of the region is a four-time champion of Russia, multiple prize-winner of international competitions. Orekhovo-Zuyevsky "Istoki" is a young team, but it has already managed to win silver and bronze places in the cups of the Podmoskovie and the championship of the United League of the Moscow Region - a year-round goalball championship in which over 20 teams from different districts of the region participate.
