Peter Crouch being remembered today as just "that tall lanky footballer with a charming sense of humour" doesn't do justice to the fact that he was exceptionally athletic, agile, skillful and tactically proficient for a player with that unusual height. Not to mention his great shooting and headers. A true baller.
You're right, he was not really a powerful sprinter like Mbappe or Bale. What I had in mind was his quite good agility despite his long legs (and he had a long stride after all), I will rephrase my comment better!
Peter Crouch humble as ever. "Yeah it was nothing, I do it every day in training". I scored a bicycle kick when I was 11 and I still bang on about it as a 44 year old.
Can relate I scored two goals as an D team against the A team of my highschool football team (in which they've just won local championship recently) Still reminiscing about it with my guys til' today
That Pajtim Kasami strike doesn't get the praise it deserves, people have no idea how hard that control is, and to be able to strike the ball the way he did straight after that. Magical

I came here for papiss cisse and was not disappointed. I still remember seeing that goal live on Telly and it was and still is the wildest goal I’ve ever seen. Simply incredible
Remember watching it live as well. It was an important game too (if Chelsea lost they were guaranteed to finish outside the top 4). Insane first goal from Cisse, outrageous second.
cisse's goal will be one I never forget. what a strike truly out of absolutely nothing. I am certain chelsea felt in zero danger until the moment it hit the net.
The Kasami goal and that Matt Phillips goal are very very difficult to execute in a real match scenario. They are both beautiful goals "out of nowhere".
I absolutely love seeing opposition fans applauding these amazing strikes. Proper lovers of sport and wonderful respect for the game. Kudos to you all.
I remember seeing that Maynor Figueroa goal on MOTD at the time then scouring through youtube for the following week until I found a good quality clip of it. Gotta love that confidence
I remember seeing it live, in the Stoke end, gutted! It won Wigan the game. People remember Stoke being a dour, ugly side in the Prem, but I saw some great goals, both for and against during the 10 years in the Prem.
Unreal strike. I remember seeing it on Match of the Day and wondering why it wasn't talked about much. It is one of the purest strikes you could ever see.
Glen Johnson, like other England players of that time, was really inconsistent, but he was technically unbelievable at times. That goal was with his "wrong" foot.
@@johnbooth3073Would've made a great wing back in Conte's 16/17 team. Think he'd have made Moses look ordinary (which he was anyway, but that season almost everything he did was perfect). Genuinely born in the wrong era.
I feel he's an old school player; will pull out something unforgettable every 3 or 4 matches, however the modern game with super conditioned athletes has no room for magic.
@@def6414you are spot on they are all athletes trying to be footballers now not footballers trying to be athletes. Put it this way if players back 20/30 years plus got conditioned like to today’s players they would hammer these saps nowadays
Xabi Alonso against Newcastle at Anfield mysteriously missing here. About the same distance out as Charlie Adam and way further than either Beckham or Rooney.
It's well known by now that the admin of this channel is clearly NOT a fan of Arsenal. THAT goal from Thierry Henry against Manchester United is the proper example of 'Out of Nowhere' but it wasn't included here.
But in the interest of fairness they didn't show Giovanni's (for Hull City) against Arsenal. That was truly "out of nowhere" as nobody gave the Tigers a chance in that game.
One goal should be here - a Liverpool fan, and it's against Liverpool!!! Where's Jamie Vardy's volley against Liverpool as part of their title winning season! Volley on the run from diagonally outside the box. Sensational volley. Gave them another 3 points towards their unexpected season. Part of his 11 games in a row scoring streak too! Can't get much more important!
This #OuttaNowhere compilation also needs: Couple of Mathew Taylor stunners for Bolton Tugay stunners for Blackburn Henry turn and lob vs United And Jon Harley screamer
That crouch goal for stoke “against my team no less” Deserves a puskas award every year. The ball didnt even touch the ground, even after it went in the net.
I enjoy these videos so much. Thank you Premier League, for all the entertainment, enjoyment, heartache, tears, shocks and astonishment you've dealt me during all these years. Saturdays and sundays have always - and forever will be, dedicated to you. I love this league so much.

Kasami and crouch goals the most difficult . Distance is given way too much credit sometimes when the keeper is 20 yards off the line but the thunderbolts from distance are something else

Every goal is an absolute stunner... what a compilation for the win! If I have to choose I'll pick Kasami: that control and volley while running on full throttle is magnificent
i will always say that matty phillips goal for is the best longshot from open play in prem history. nobody cares cuz it was a consolation goal for qpr but technically one of the best
Would be difficult to recreate, even in practice. To measure that Coriolis from so far away, hell of a movement. It's a shame he couldn't keep his form going for a few more years
Kasami's goal is the most underrated, doesn't get mentioned anywhere near enough. But Henry's goal against Man Utd is the best ever Premier League goal, from the best ever Premier League player. And I say that as a Chelsea fan since the days of Zola.
I'm always left disappointed to see Gudni Bergsson's 40 yard strike for Bolton left out of these compilations. It was the best goal I've seen live and given he was a right back not known for his goals it did come out of nowhere.
the first Chelsea game I ever went to was when charlie adam scored from the half way line, we still one but thats what that game was always known for. You were just sitting there watching from the far end. Your saying Courtois has that, then it just goes in dead quiet.
Yeh I was thinking the same thing, I'm not a Leeds supporter, but I still remember two Tony yeboah absolute rockets, but the one where he controls the ball on his knee and volleys the ball, how the hell that isn't here I will never know, or what I feel even more criminal that isn't on this list is that Harry Kewell goal when he was on the run full tilt controlling the ball and hits it on the half volley.. how those two goals are not here is wild!!
That volley from Crouch is the best goal ever scored in Premier League. Matched only by that Henry's goal from the spot against Manchester United, can't decide which one is better.
Amazing how many of these goals have happened in Fulham games. Seems like you're guaranteed to see a worldie from someone if you go to a Fulham game, whether it's for or against them!
I'm very biased as a fulham fan but that kasami goal is the best ive ever seen. even had the palace fans applauding. a moment of pure genius from an otherwise middling player - he'll never have to buy a drink again!
